  1. Can't wait for both to get hurt playing in meaningless games.
  2. He's straight up missing throws average QBs make. You can argue that he and his receivers aren't on the same page, but he's missing wide open guys like Trubisky used to.
  3. https://www.mlb.com/news/kyle-lewis-trade-diamondbacks-mariners
  4. Is this just another way to say bench coach?
  5. Probably not, but Winker's offensive peripherals last year were pretty bad. His exit velo dropped a lot, as did his hard hit % and barrel%. It wasn't just him moving to Seattle that caused a lot of his issues. He straight up wasn't hitting the ball as hard as he did in Cincy.
  6. I totally forgot about Gurriel. Merrifield is more of a utility guy, so I doubt they would want him in the OF full-time.
  7. He's also coming off shoulder surgery. It's his right shoulder and he throws with his left, so maybe it won't affect him too much in the OF. I'm not sure what the implications of a shoulder injury are for a hitter though.
  8. I doubt teams claim him at $4 million.
  9. Nimmo and Conforto are definitely on their radar.
  10. The Sox would totally claim Raimel Tapia. I guess he's not bad as a 4th OFer.
  11. Teoscar doesn't make sense for this team. He destroys lefties, but is just alright against righties. We have a bunch of those types of hitters on the team already.
  12. Yeah, who the hell are the Blue Jays gonna play in the OF? Are they gonna sign 2 OFers?
  13. The Angels do seem to botch all their FA signings.
  14. He's gonna be 33 next year. With his style of pitching, I doubt he ages that poorly.
  15. No, it's gonna be 3 years and $75 mil cause Jon Heyman said so.
  16. It'd feel like the Jim Thome situation all over again.
  17. It would be kinda funny if one Cuban replaces another. I hate the idea of Jose playing for Houston though.
  18. This is a good sign that the SP market is pretty good. I can totally see the Sox getting Clevinger. Especially since the Angels were one of the teams after him. With Anderson, it gives them 5 starters for next year.
  19. He's shown that he's at least an average starter the last 3 seasons once he got out of Colorado. I don't expect him to replicate last year but I don't think it's a stretch to say he's a 2.5 WAR type pitcher.
  20. 3 and 39 is less than what FG had as their median crowd source. Pretty reasonable deal for a guy coming off a 4 WAR season.
  21. Good signing for the Angels. Their rotation is actually interesting next year. Jose Suarez and Patrick Sandoval were both good last year.
  22. I'm surprised Eovaldi didn't take it coming off a pretty bad season with arm issues.
  23. Winker is somehow worse than Eloy defensively.
  24. Jansen and Taylor Rodgers probably get good money on their deals, but the drop off after them is huge. Is anyone really gonna pay Kimbrel a multi-year deal? Chapman? Those guys are both older and coming off terrible years.
  25. Grandal's issue isn't that he wasn't getting singles that he should have gotten, his issue was that he was no longer hitting the ball with any real authority. Getting 10 more singles would have made him a .230 hitter last year with a .300 slugging. That's not worth much of anything.
