  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 12:55 PM) Wii: New Super Mario Bros 4 player Super Mario Galaxy 2 Metroid Other M (3rd person from Team Ninja) Wii Sports Resort (Looks cool, basketball is in it) Lots of Motion+ Focus Vitality Sensor Dead Space Extraction Resident Evil Something or other The Conduit looks great No More Heroes 2 TMNT:Smash-up Rabbids And Red Steel 2 looks like game of the year Red Steal 1 sucked. Conduit and Dead Space are the games that looked good from here. Sony really pwned it IMO. If only the PSP Go! didn't leak before E3, it would have been even better.
  2. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 12:59 AM) As Thunderbolt got at, Thome's always been a great hitter, and great hitters are usually clutch. Thome's been doing this for a while. 500 was a walk-off, 550 was a game winning 3 run homer, what's he going to do with 600? The game-winning shot in game 163 in 2010.
  3. He needs to look at some 2007 tape. At least he was hitting home runs back then. He's literally a singles hitter at 3B right now.
  4. Mazarro's been dominant in the minors. He's got a mid 90s fastball and a good sinker, along with a change-up (uh-oh) and a slider. Good control and a decent K per 9 innings ratio. Let's hope this offense hops on him while he's still got some butterflies.
  5. You give up a hit to a guy hitting .48 and then a walk to a guy hitting .188. Note to Ozzie: he's losing it.
  6. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) your pick to click? Sure, put me down.
  7. Nice, that's Cunningham's second hit in about 25 ABs. Great!
  8. Whatever you do, don't walk Cunningham.
  9. Cunningham has one hit in like 20 ABs. Watch him get one here.
  10. Gavin's starting to get hit pretty hard.
  11. Giambi and Cust are like the biggest walk, strikeout, or home run guys ever.
  12. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:47 PM) The way the Sox have played tonight is exactly how they were playing two weeks ago, solo homeruns, bad defense, poor offense against poor pitching Pretty much. Cahill's been decent though. Gotta give him that.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:46 PM) That was just pathetic by AJ. Giambi up in the 7th...he kills us in these situations. I'm surprised it hasn't poured yet.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:39 PM) Rocket by Thome...too bad he didn't get elevation. PK will have a tough time avoiding the DP here. The dreaded PK double play. Yikes.
  15. Maybe Ozzie knew something we didn't.
  16. Where was this catch in the first inning Alexei?
  17. We need to make our move this inning. Now or never guys. Middle of the lineup coming up.
  18. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:01 PM) Alexei trying to bunt on a 2-0 count in the 3rd inning of a one-run game. Ugh I hate that. It was 3-1. Do that on 2-1, not 3-1. 3-1 is pretty much a fastball count and you don't give up a fastball down the middle on a bunt. I don't care if the 3B was playing in the bleachers.
  19. Alexei bunting on 3-1. Makes a lot of sense. UGH.
  20. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 07:53 PM) 3 words. old. man. gas. GAS! He Gawn!
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 07:46 PM) BTW, Wise is going to be DFA'd in 10 days. He'll get the majority of the playing time this home stand, and then when CQ returns, he gone. I have nothing against Dweezy. But Ozzie has made him everybody's enemy because he sits BA whenever he can.
