White Sox Winner! First place!
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 03:29 PM) The DET announcers seem to be besides themselves on why the Sox always beat the s*** out of the Tigers. They even said "they have speed." Epic lulz

White Sox Winner! First place!
He's still got one more start this week. He can still redeem himself.

White Sox Winner! First place!
Carlos is back! What wrist problem? It was nice to see PK and JD go back to back and both have monstrous offensive days. I couldn't watch the game because I was at school, but damn, Gavin sucked. 7 walks? I even started him in fantasy, stupid me. At least he got me a win.

Wise to DL with Separated Shoulder/Anderson to Start in CF
Lillibridge is Ozzie's kind of guy. Not a good hitter, but can do the little things well. If he can play center, Ozzie would do it.

White Sox @ Tigers 12:05pm CSNHD
Nice play by Fields there.

P. Rogers' new MLB power rankings
QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 12:09 PM) everyone who knows anything about baseball recognizes him as a flash in the pan. yeah he's got talent, but he's going to be streaky as hell - nothing close to a reliable leadoff hitter all year. He's gonna be a decent fantasy player though. He plays 2B and 3B, two of the shallowest positions on the field and he hits leadoff and steals bases for you. You're going to get runs and steals out of him in a good position. As long as he hits .260-.270-ish he'll keep his job and will provide decently for you as a fantasy owner. As an actual baseball player, you're probably right.

Phil Rodgers is an idiot. How can you drop Cleveland THAT much after the first week?

Congrats Dye and Paulie
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 13, 2009 -> 01:39 PM) Quentin will be hitting his 300 sometime in Sept. If he keeps this up, yes. It looks like that wrist is fine.

Official 2008-2009 NBA Thread
Philly owns the tie-breaker. Better win tomorrow. I really want that 6th seed. It sounds better and we have a better chance against Orlando.

Official 2008-2009 NBA Thread
Although the Bulls have played an easy ass schedule lately, they can beat just about anybody at home. I think this team can at least make it go to game 6 against any team and make it interesting.

And That's a White Sox Winner !
Did Wise get two hits...? Woah. The offense is coming back around. Clayton Richard scares me though.

white sox winner
Alexei with two hits. Quentin had two hits. Corky freakin' Miller had two hits. Bartolo pitched well with the aid of his high-80s fastball. If this was July and the Twins had Mauer, this game might have been a little different. But a win's a win and at least we know Bartolo can pitch. BTW, I liked Lillibridge (good patience at the plate, put down a good bunt) and Fields continues to impress.

With 3 games still left, the Bulls could possibly end up in the 6th seed if Philly plays like crap and the Bulls play well. I'd much rather face Orlando than Boston and Cleveland.

Sox being sued
I don't think it would be the White Sox' fault if people go ape s*** over $10 shirts and hurt others. It's meant to be a fun thing, not anything violent.

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
So close, yet so far away...

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
Fields with a 4 pitch walk.

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
lol, BA wasn't any better than Wise there...

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
Have you guys noticed that ever since Wise has sucked it up, a lot of us are starting to favor BA. xD Even some BA haters.

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
Mahay in. Davies out.

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
QUOTE (jphat007 @ Apr 9, 2009 -> 03:08 PM) It's hard to get ahead when Davies is pounding the strike zone. They might as well go ahead and swing away. Alexei swung at a pitch outside the strike zone in his last AB. He's been doing this for the past three games. I know Alexei is not patient whatsoever, but did he lose that great baseball instinct he had last season or something?

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
Is Alexei just swinging at everything? He's looked atrocious thus far. Take a pitch and get ahead, then look for that fastball...

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
7 strikeouts for Kyle Davies? WTF? I know it's cold, I know it's early, but god damn. Have you guys forgot how to swing a damn bat? Damn it Konerko...almost.

White Sox (1-1) vs. Royals (1-1) 1:05-CSN
These guys forgot how to hit. Ozzie should go on a rant, lol.

Josh Fields' Carlos Quentin stance
Fields is crouching a little more and his legs must be farther apart, that's the only thing I noticed. It looks more like Quentin's, but it's not there yet. I swear, I thought I was watching Jeff Bagwell for a second when I saw Fields up there yesterday.
