Well, at least it didn't get anymore interesting.

Might wanna get somebody else up in the bullpen.

They do realize that it would go by faster if the Royals score less right?

He will make it just because we need a mop up guy.

They didn't reverse it...you can tell that's foul.

Oh wait that's foul

Thst looked clearly fair.

There's a reason they don't pitch Trevor in high leverage situations unless they're absolutely forced to.

This is what pulling the ball in the air can do for you. Even a smaller guy like Chase. He's so good with his bat control (barreling the ball) that he can hit the ball hard even with lower bat speed. It outta be a lesson for a guy like Quero too. Quero tried to up his bat speed and it ruined his entire offensive approach. Chase did the opposite and is now way out hitting his power projections.

We badly need a dependable right handed middle reliever. Brazoban back to being good would be huge for the playoffs.

Gilbert got out of it with only 1 run.

Chase beat that out to decrease Massey's fielding metrics so he can win the gold glove.

That depends on if the Red Sox bother to play their best players.

They have the bases loaded and nobody out. Looks like that players meeting by Yordan worked.

I would much rather play Texas, but clinching a spot is far more important.

Yeah I agree. Bye or not, I don't envision this team doing much in the playoffs. It's great if it happens, but getting to the playoffs is such a huge accomplishment that anything beyond that is house money.

Hopefully they're at least interested in one of these next 2 games. If Cleveland sweeps the division is over.

It's been so long since we've had a game like this. But I did not forget how poorly we usually play after scoring like this.

Go Mets and Mariners Getting that magic number down to 2 is basically gonna lock us into a wild card spot.

Save some runs for the rest of the series guys

Lowe falls down but the Guardians still get the out at first. Ugh

Can we lend the Red Sox a few runs?

They're scarier in general. I'm just saying going through all that trouble to purposely lose right before the playoffs isn't worth it

Chase getting in the way there probably helped with that misplay

Looks like Brazoban has the 7th.
