I really don't understand batting Pham 2. He should play vs lefties but hitting him in the most important spot in the lineup is insane.

Sox have usually struggled coming out of an off day. 8-0 in games before the off day dating back to late June. But just 2-5 in the games after off days with a lot of blowouts. They need to come out looking sharp.

Boston's offense is pretty much back to doing what they were doing early in the season. They really don't score much. Edit: they haven't scored more than 6 runs all month.

I'd argue the only time they didn't was when KC won something like 8 in a row and took 2 out of 3 from them.
