  1. Seby's not good, but he at least can hit the ball out of the infield.
  2. Well, he did swing at that in the first and popped out. I don't blame him for not swinging again.
  3. They got Lopez and Fulmer but Pagan still ends up fucking them.
  4. Also if Yoan isn't gonna hit, he's at least gotta make plays at 3B. That probably wasn't that routine, but that's a play he needs to make.
  5. Yup they've been preaching up the middle and opposite field forever. The last time the Sox weren't top 10 in opposite field % was 2015.
  6. Eloy came into today looking great at the plate. But he's barely looked competitive against Ragans tonight.
  7. Wow Luis Robert's patience has been impressive tonight.
  8. TA's OPS is creeping towards .750. He's really been kind of sleep walking ever since coming back from injury.
  9. That would have been a single last year cause Tony refused to shift on right handed hitters.
  10. The Angels are only 3 games up on the A's. Pretty crazy considering they were in position of a wild card spot as recently as June.
  11. Ragans has pretty good spinrate on his fastball. It's probably why we're not having much success against it.
  12. This offense was so fun back in 2020. It was even fun in 2019 cause Yoan was so dangerous that year.
  13. We're totally gonna let this guy throw 5 innings of 1 run ball aren't we?
  14. Too bad he can barely hit the ball out of the infield in the Majors.
  15. To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Yoan Moncada. The plate discipline is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of advanced metrics most of his play will go over a typical baseball fan's head. There's also Yoan's defensive outlook, which is deftly woven into his wins above replacement- his hitting philosophy draws heavily from Frank Menechino, for instance. The true Sox fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of his walks, to realize that they're not base on balls- they say something deep about BASEBALL. As a consequence people who dislike Yoan Moncada truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the value in Yoan's existential catchphrase "Disastre Personal," which itself is a cryptic reference to his struggles with females off the field. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Yoan Moncada's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. ? And yes, by the way, i DO have a Yoan Moncada tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid ?
  16. I need a Rick and Morty copypasta about Yoan Moncada.
