6/4/22 Sox @ Rays, 3:10 pm
That's why he's a 2nd baseman. He made a nice play but his lack of a good arm made that way closer than it should have been.

TLR 2022 Thread
He basically lost a game by himself cause he couldn't operate a bullpen phone in game 5 of the World Series. That was some of the worst managing I've ever seen.

TLR 2022 Thread
Nice try Jay, but TLR is now 40 years older and the game went by him like 15 years ago.

I don't wanna be that guy...but a blown hold is considered a blown save assuming it's after the 7th inning.

I see we still can't avoid the dreaded 8th inning meltdown.

TLR 2022 Thread
Yeah, I just read the Phillies subreddit and they all seem to think Girardi checked out and didn't give a shit. Girardi doesn't have the benefit of his bullpen being good though. I'm sure if our bullpen was as bad as the Phillies', we'd be 10+ games under .500 at this point.

Joe Girardi.....
Just how bad do we have to be for TLR to quit?

Menechino is movable
He's gotta be gone if they still can't score in Tampa right?

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
They didn't even bother putting a Knights sticker on his batting helmet? lol

Montas gets Sox speculation
Starting pitching is actually the only real strength of this team right now.

Sox vs Blue Jays 6:07, Giolito vs Gausman
The air went out of the balloon after the Hernandez double.

Just a terrible pitch to Hernandez.

Eloy rehab starts again 6/21
2 months off his feet will only make an already fat man fatter.

TA out 3 weeks
We really lucked out, but he got injured at probably the worst time imaginable due to how tough these next 9 games are.

Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion
He's not giving up the long ball this year, which has been a saving grace for his peripherals. He gave up quite a few with the Sox last year. Just watching him pitch though, he's wild like he was with the Sox last year. No real fastball command and the velo on it is 95-96. If guys don't swing at his curve he just doesn't look that good.

Kimbrel just blew a save against the Pirates. He's back to doing what he did with the Sox. Pollock may be bad, but Kimbrel hasn't been that much better.

TA out 3 weeks
Can he still play 2B?

Cease and Graveman to Restricted List; Crick Up
That's definitely why they pushed Kopech back and had Cease start twice this past week.

05/29/2022 - Cubs @ White Sox
I didn't get a chance to watch the game, but watching the highlights, I noticed that pretty much every big hit by the Sox today in extras was on an inside sinker. I don't have the numbers out in front of me or anything, but I swear that's a pitch the Sox have been pulling into the ground all year. Instead I saw Engel and Abreu take that pitch to CF and Burger elevate it for a line drive single. Maybe they're finally making some adjustments. Cause they're gonna need it without TA to carry this offense.

TA out 3 weeks
So a severe groin strain can take up to 4 months to heal. Grade 2 is 2-3 months. This really could put the whole season in jeopardy. TA was basically the only consistent hitter in this lineup.
