  1. They didn't even bother putting a Knights sticker on his batting helmet? lol
  2. Starting pitching is actually the only real strength of this team right now.
  3. The air went out of the balloon after the Hernandez double.
  4. Just a terrible pitch to Hernandez.
  5. 2 months off his feet will only make an already fat man fatter.
  6. We really lucked out, but he got injured at probably the worst time imaginable due to how tough these next 9 games are.
  7. He's not giving up the long ball this year, which has been a saving grace for his peripherals. He gave up quite a few with the Sox last year. Just watching him pitch though, he's wild like he was with the Sox last year. No real fastball command and the velo on it is 95-96. If guys don't swing at his curve he just doesn't look that good.
  8. Kimbrel just blew a save against the Pirates. He's back to doing what he did with the Sox. Pollock may be bad, but Kimbrel hasn't been that much better.
  9. Can he still play 2B?
  10. No news has to be bad news right?
  11. That's definitely why they pushed Kopech back and had Cease start twice this past week.
  12. I didn't get a chance to watch the game, but watching the highlights, I noticed that pretty much every big hit by the Sox today in extras was on an inside sinker. I don't have the numbers out in front of me or anything, but I swear that's a pitch the Sox have been pulling into the ground all year. Instead I saw Engel and Abreu take that pitch to CF and Burger elevate it for a line drive single. Maybe they're finally making some adjustments. Cause they're gonna need it without TA to carry this offense.
  13. So a severe groin strain can take up to 4 months to heal. Grade 2 is 2-3 months. This really could put the whole season in jeopardy. TA was basically the only consistent hitter in this lineup.

  15. Yoan is probably the worst guy to pinch hit in this situation.
  16. If TA is out for an extended period this team is done for.
  17. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
  18. Kimbrel not used in a 1 run save situation
  19. He absolutely deserves all the criticism.
  20. Just going to Foster like a whole inning too late...
  21. I think if we're still .500 and within 6 games of the Twins, we'll win the division.
  22. It really could be a lot worse. We've won a lot of close games cause the bullpen was on absolute fire for a whole week and got extremely fortunate. The way this team has won isn't sustainable at all. If the offense doesn't start hitting it's gonna get ugly really fast.
  23. Matt Foster still warming. He might never pitch in this game lol.
  24. Pitchers were pounding him inside last year for a while cause all he could do was hit grounders on inside pitches. Then he made a change against the Cubs that finally allowed him to hit the ball in the air on inside pitches.
  25. This is what happens when you have Harrison hitting behind TA. This loss is squarely on TLR.
