Astros got the winning run up with nobody out. Good lord the A's bullpen sucks.

Even if Rodon can't throw upper 90s you still gotta put him on the roster. He's still been effective with the lower velocity and is way more useful than someone like Marshall. You honestly can't even throw Marshall in a close playoff game.

A's got out of the 8th, still up 2.

This was Lynn's first win since late July. I don't think he's had a win since the trade deadline.

Liam Ks the side.

Oakland trying their best to blow it.

Pretty good the first 2, but he labored a bit in the final 2 innings.

That swing is why I think Yoan isn't good against lefties.

Billy is a man of the people. Getting these souvenirs for all his fans.

Hendriks is warming. Guess they need work after not throwing the last 3 days.

Matt Foster time.

He's looked different since that game he struck out the side in Cleveland. Velocity and fastball location have been way better since.

You could argue that could be scored as F8-7 lmao.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. He was one of the biggest beneficiaries of the trash banging scheme.

I think our pitching matchups stack better if we play our first 2 on the road. I would hate to pitch Cease on the road in a game 3 or 4. But you never want to turn down an extra home game in a 5 game series given how well this team has played at home.

Yaz tried making sure Cesar doesn't get a single PA in the playoffs.

They used a lot of their good arms last night.

A's up by 4.

The fact that he didn't go after that slider above the zone is nice to see. That's actually a pitch he's struggled with.

That's one way to get an RBI

Luis got screwed there.

TA looks like he really didn't want to walk there lmao

Nice job Gavin

How does Moncada not score on that? That's so dumb.

They only gave him a single?
