Yeah the bullpen was bad, but the umpire somehow gave up almost as many runs as our bullpen. The most egregious call (the missed strike right down the middle) didn't even make the top 3 cause the Royals didn't score directly because of it.

Bummer can't throw strikes, Heuer has some control issues as well, Foster can't fool anyone anymore, Marshall can't throw strikes and is extremely hittable, and Hendriks has already given up 2 homers this year (probably more than he gave up all of last season). I know bullpens are volatile...but damn.

It is on him, but at the same time, it should have never come down to a 1 run lead. We should have scored a lot more early in the game.
