Damn, no doubles defense actually did its job there.

You bust Gordon high and in with a good fastball and he's not gonna do much with it. That's been the book on him forever.

If Carson ever figures out how to control his pitches, he's gonna be one hell of a bullpen arm.

Hey that was a strike to Collins...

Come on Eddings...you can't call a big zone but then not call actual strikes.

We got lucky with Castellanos in the 9th, but had we walked him, Miggy probably would have just done that and gave the Tigers the lead anyhow.

2019-2020 Official NBA Thread
Really like the Satoransky signing. The Bulls got 2 pretty good veteran role players on decent contracts. I would have liked Brogdon more but I do understand why they weren't willing to go 4 and 85 with him (along with the draft picks they'd have to send back).

I gave him the benefit of the doubt since he was coming off the ACL tear. Before he hurt it, he was a .578 TS% guy and a .548 the year before. Those are solid numbers for a guy who takes as many shots as he does.

It's not like LaVine is inefficient or a chucker. I'd rather pay him $20 million a year for the next 3 years than pay Russell $30 million a year for the next 4.

Yonder DFA'd
At least Rick's not one to hold onto his failures forever. First Santana and now Alonso. I think what's kind of funny is that Jon Jay coming back probably shortened Yonder's time on this team.

Yeah but can he play in Game 6?

How to Watch the Bears out of State
This is what I do right now: I subscribe to YouTube TV for my current TV needs. You can easily fake your location for YouTube TV so that it thinks you're in the Chicagoland area. This works on Chrome or on your Android phone (get a mock location app). For Chrome you can use an extension like Location Guard to project yourself somewhere in Chicago. YouTube TV will then have all the local Fox and CBS channels and you'll be able to watch all the local Bears games.

Sox @ Nats (Covey vs Sanchez) 12:05 PM CT First Pitch
He always kills us. It's just an accepted fact at this point.

Sox & Nats, 6/4/19, Rey & Strasburg
lol almost gave up back to back jacks. At this point he's worse than Lucas was last year.

Lopez has to be the most frustrating pitcher on this team. He's got the stuff, but he just keeps kicking himself.
-
Sox & Nats, 6/4/19, Rey & Strasburg
Lopez has the worst pickoff move ever.

Covey had some real good stretches last year. Banuelos just implodes in his bad starts. And a lot of his starts are bad.

Sox & Nats, 6/4/19, Rey & Strasburg
We're gonna get this Nationals bullpen for 4 or 5 innings at this rate.

That looked like a hit for Tim

You should post this every time Lopez gets into trouble.

Eloy Jimenez discussion thread
He just looks like he doesn't have a plan up at the plate sometimes and it makes him look extremely overmatched. Plus he's trying to hit everything as hard as he can. I think he's just trying too hard to hit homers, especially at home. I feel like the contract he signed and the expectations of him are definitely weighing him down a bit.
