  1. The Lakers can't beat the Bulls without a 100% healthy beasting Kobe...sucks because I like when teams play each other at full strength.
  2. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:59 AM) Why would that matter? Gasol starts at center and Taj provides the D at power forward. That'll work, not like the NBA has a surpluss of scoring Cs.
  3. The article does say that Gasol wanted to retire as a Laker, maybe he's asking the FO for a trade like Odom, just not so publicly?
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:50 AM) Hypothetical question: If the lakers asked for boozer + noah would you do it? Depends if Asik is ready to be starter, if he's not, no, if he is, I'll drive Noah and Boozer myself to O'Hare airport.
  5. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:29 AM) The Lakers would be insane to even consider something like that. I agree, but the Lakers gave away Odom for next to nothing so hopefully they are in a charitable mood
  6. According to Spanish magazine Marca, there are rumors about a Boozer/Korver for Gasol trade...use google translation since the article is in Spanish.I doubt it happens but if it does, that would be enough to put us over Miami IMO. http://www.marca.com/2011/12/21/baloncesto...1324465328.html
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 11:27 PM) I agree that depth in the regular season, especially a condensed season, will be beneficial. But in the playoffs, when it's time to see LeBron, Wade and Bosh, that depth means next to nothing. The prerequisite J4L downer post for all us Bulls "homers"...lol
  8. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 03:13 AM) And now we get to watch McCown on Sunday night! No we don't! NFL season is over for me, I'm watching the Bulls/Lakers and the other NBA games that day...
  9. Per Grantland on their "The Fabulous and the Flops of the NFL week 15"... Leave it to the Bears to have a historically bad QB, according to this article, Jonathan Quinn>Caleb Hanie lol
  10. Pretty interesting read on how to beat the Pack, in theory it sounds right, trick is pulling it off. http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/736823...-mighty-packers
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 09:26 AM) The 70 is pretty accurate. The speed he has moves it up a bit, but the dude has no arm and no accuracy. and if he looks completly lost out there, it'll be like the real Hanie.
  12. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 08:59 AM) Because most here would agree basing your thoughts of a team on Madden rankings is perfectly acceptable. Especially since Hanie gets a 70, shows that that list is BS, he is 58 tops.
  13. Obama Both Newt and Mitt scare me.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 11:24 AM) Will you give that same LOL to everyone who wanted to sign Forte to a big contract because he never got hurt? That 4-2 or 3-3 was predicated on not losing the RB who was having an MVP level season himself. Forte doesn't have a history of being an oft injured player, almost every NFL player takes time off because of injury, I'm on the "show Forte the money" side. All RBs need a decent OLine to be effective, only 70's Sweetness and Barry Sanders were great enough to be effective with garbage linemen.
  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 12:21 PM) I'd take a veteran QB with an uncomplicated playbook of 15-20 plays over an overly complicated playbook in the hands of a QB that shouldn't be playing on an NFL team. thank you
  16. QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 11:35 AM) Michael McCaskey pissed off the wrong gypsy. Chris Williams Gabe Carini Matt Forte Jay Cutler Sam Hurd Johnny Knox It's payback for last year's injury free season, we got nailed hard this year.
  17. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 08:16 AM) It would have been awesome if the Packers went undefeated this year, but the goal is to win the Super Bowl. Now the Packers need to get healthy. The Chiefs played a really good game. It's a blessing in disguise losing, the real goal is to win the SB, now the pressure of going undefeated is out the window and the Pack can concentrate on HFA and getting to the Big Show again.
  18. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 4, 2011 -> 03:06 PM) We may not win another game this season. No way we are beating GB and Minny...it's all on Hanie who is not an NFL QB and the Bears FO for not going after McNabb, he CAN NOT be worse than Hanie. lol at those who said we'd go 4-2 or 3-3 with Hanie, how 'bout 0-6?
  19. So Rodgers has a sub-par game and the Pack lose, don't great teams win those games when their stars are having an off game?Especially against the likes of KC... Don't get me wrong but GB is still the team to beat in the NFC but those who say they are "unbeatable", really don't know a lot about football.
  20. My dream addition to tbe Bulls is Iguodala (I know, it's a reach), he can handle the ball, create for himself and others, has nice size and is a shutdown defender. If we can get him, the Bulls beat Miami. Is there a possibility of getting him at the trade deadline?Hopefully Philly is out of playoff contention and they put Iggy on the trading block
  21. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 16, 2011 -> 09:40 AM) I think some people just base what they say a whole lot more on what they read as opposed to actually watching the games... Yeah, I hated JC when he was with the Bulls and I literally laughed out loud at his shot selection vs the Bulls in the playoffs last season.
  22. Am I the only one here who wanted no part of Crawford? He's an inefficient ball hogging chucker with horrific shot selection and couldn't defend my grandmother, at least Rip shoots within the offense, he won't take stupid shots like JC and Rip played with those stingy Pistons defense, he's aware of the concept of playing D, same can't be said of Crawford.
  23. Geez, J4L enjoys being a pessimist, hahaha.
  24. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 08:57 AM) I don't recall Lebron having an exceptionally spectacular series, I recall him having what, 1 game where he won it with some ridiculous shots, then another game which was really won by Bosh, then another game which was really won by Haslam, all of which were really punctuated by the Bulls being unable to do anything remotely resembling a competent offense. Basically, if Korver could have hit some of the open shots he got on the outside, the Bulls would have taken that series. If Rose would have been smarter about his shot and drive selections, the Bulls could have taken that series. If the Bulls had a competent additional offensive option, the Bulls could have taken that series. The defense held together pretty darn well, even with LBJ on the opposite side, different guys had to step up just to keep the Heat in the games, but the biggest thing was that the Heat's defense completely clamped down on the Bulls on the interior and mid range jumper game, and the Bulls couldn't spread the floor or make outside shots to take advantage. I totally agree with this post, Korver missed open 3s after open 3s, if he would've hit a few, it would've opened up the floor for Rose. Rip is a nice addition but if we get someone like Iguodala, the Bulls can beat the Heat, the Heat are still weak at the PG and C position like last year.
  25. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:06 AM) Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard 56 sec Reply Retweet Favorite · Open There r only 4 teams Dwight Howard would sign longterm with - Orl, NJ, LAL, Dal - source says. Rules out a possible DRose-D12 duo in CHI Not that we didn't know this. Howard is a douche, joining the Bulls would make him an instant long term title contender and we would deny LBJ and the Heat their 7-8 cships. New Jersey??GTFO
