    Small cars...

I own a 2011 Nissan Tiida, nice car with enough leg room in front and back and it 's really a nicely built car... I never liked big cars or trucks.Mid-sized is the way to go for me.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2011 -> 10:16 AM) I do remember the big deal that was made about how far he slipped down the draft chart. His draft position was a huge surprise. And you have to give props to the Packers FO, they snatched him up when many teams that needed a QB passed on him, including (in my best Super Fan imitation) a certain team from a certain town...
  3. Tebow is all hype, like so many other college star QBs that amount to crap in the NFL, they'll be lots more after him. BTW, whatever happened to sure thing Matt Leinart?
  4. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 28, 2011 -> 10:59 PM) Obvious sarcasm. Oh I knew you were being sarcastic, Milkman, I just used your post to make my point to those who wouldn't take TLR for whatever retarded reason they came up with...sorry if you thought it was directed at you.
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 28, 2011 -> 10:44 PM) But you're forgetting that La Russa is a jerk! He may be a dickwad but I couldn't give two s***s about that, he may overmanage sometimes but he is a proven winner, he has lead a 2006 and a 2011 Cardinals teams that were inferior on paper to the teams they beat. Arrogant asshole winner>>>>>>>>>gracious nice loser
  6. and there are folks here who wouldn't take LaRussa if he were available...SMH Congrats Cardinals, 2011 World Champs
  7. Ozzie is doing color on ESPN's WS broadcast to Latin America and doing tweets at the same time...who says OG can't multi-task... Awesome game last night, I was so sure Texas was gonna win after all those times they kept grabbing the lead. Go Cards
  8. All or nothing for Washington tonight, Holland in as a reliever. The Cards look to be tentative, it's tied 4-4 right now but Texas will win tonight.
  9. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 27, 2011 -> 12:42 PM) Sounds like it'd be Carp vs. Harrison if it goes 7. Not buying this, Holland will get the start.
  10. The thing about Perry that makes me nervous is that he's a govenor of Texas, he wears his relegion on his sleeve, he's folksy and wants to be perceived as regular joe... Reminds me too much of another former Texas gov. who became President and we all saw how that turned out, NO THANKS!
  11. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 14, 2011 -> 06:45 PM) http://www.sportsinmovies.com/ What a wack list, Raging Bull at #73?
  12. Tailor made double play ball hits the mound and then Napoli breaks the game open. Texas got the breaks tonight.
  13. The Rangers have a Texas sized horse shoe up their ass tonight...
  14. I'm watching the game on ESPN Deportes and Ozzie Guillen is doing color comentary and he said Dave Duncan is the best pitching coach in MLB, nice shot at Coop, lol
  15. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 07:01 PM) Tim McCarver: Last night, Pujols equaled Michael Jordan. What...? I've given up trying to make sense of the crap that comes out of the mouth of that doofus.
  16. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 05:14 PM) I hate to be the guy that gives too much love to a player BUT Aaron Rodgers is just absolutely f***in ridiculous. I say this every week in this thread and I will continue to... And I shall call you Captain Obvious if you do... It 's insane to think that Rodgers may become a better QB than Favre, and it's also unfair...
  17. AJ Pierzynski visiting the Fox broadcasting booth at the Cowboys game.
  18. QUOTE (MAX @ Oct 23, 2011 -> 02:19 AM) Did you miss the 9th inning the other day? I reread my post and it seems to imply that I thought the series was 3-0 but yeah, I watched Gm 2 where the St. Louis bullpen lost the game. I meant to write that if it weren't for that blown save, the Cards would be looking to wrap it up tonite, I believe the Cards have had the lead or been tied with Texas in every inning except of course for that top of the 9th of Gm 2.It's been a competitive Series but St. Louis has had the upper hand so far. I said Cards in 6 at the beginning of the WS and I'll stick with that. Go Cards!!
  19. I thought a low scoring game was an advantage for the Cardinals and they lose Gm 2 2-1 and I thought a high scoring game in Texas would favor the Rangers and St. Louis pounds them at their house, shows you what I know, St.Louis is the better team 3 games into the WS, should be looking to sweep tomorrow. Pujols is a baseball god and I would murder Dunn and Rios if it meant we had a shot at him (ok, I really wouldn't, gotta make that clear if that OG kid still reads ST) The Cubs better not land Pujols, I hope he stays in St. Louis. Hopefully LaRussa gives EJax a shot and good EJax shows up.
  20. The bunt call by LaRussa was definitly the right call but you can tell the whole AB Punto was uncomfortable against Nefti or however you spell his name, horrible hack he took at that last pitch. As much as I disliked Punto when he was with the Twins, I've always liked his fundamentals.Unspectacular but an effective player that does the little things. I wouldn't mind a guy like that on the White Sox roster...
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 20, 2011 -> 11:28 PM) Umm. So tonight Tony gets owned by Washington? LaRussa makes THE WRONG choices in the pen late. LaRussa calls for bunt in ninth; Punto can't get it down and whiffs. Managing is overrated. Players win games; Rangers won this one late. The godlike Tony got schooled by Washington. Why? Cause Texas won. I won't mention what the reax on this board woulda been if our manager called for a ninth-inning bunt and we couldn't get it down like Punto. I still think St.Louis gonna win, as long as these games are low scoring and not slugfests=advantage Cards...they should be up 2-0.
  22. I just watched the most heartbreaking video I've ever seen, a 2 year old toddler in China gets run over and while she's lying there bleeding, people walk by and nobody does anything to help her, then another car runs over her again!WTF is wrong with people! She's lying there outside a market and not one person helps her until her mother picks her up almost 8 minutes after she was first run over. Obviouslly I hope nothing but the worst for the 2 drivers as it was not a simple accident, the first driver just callously ran over her but the people that did nothing to aid her, I pray their souls rot in hell. I'm not gonna post a link to the video, it's on Youtube but it's really hard to watch. My heart goes out to that poor little kid, humanity failed you...RIP.
