QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Dec 19, 2011 -> 08:16 AM) It would have been awesome if the Packers went undefeated this year, but the goal is to win the Super Bowl. Now the Packers need to get healthy. The Chiefs played a really good game. It's a blessing in disguise losing, the real goal is to win the SB, now the pressure of going undefeated is out the window and the Pack can concentrate on HFA and getting to the Big Show again. -

QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 4, 2011 -> 03:06 PM) We may not win another game this season. No way we are beating GB and Minny...it's all on Hanie who is not an NFL QB and the Bears FO for not going after McNabb, he CAN NOT be worse than Hanie. lol at those who said we'd go 4-2 or 3-3 with Hanie, how 'bout 0-6? -

So Rodgers has a sub-par game and the Pack lose, don't great teams win those games when their stars are having an off game?Especially against the likes of KC... Don't get me wrong but GB is still the team to beat in the NFC but those who say they are "unbeatable", really don't know a lot about football. -
My dream addition to tbe Bulls is Iguodala (I know, it's a reach), he can handle the ball, create for himself and others, has nice size and is a shutdown defender. If we can get him, the Bulls beat Miami. Is there a possibility of getting him at the trade deadline?Hopefully Philly is out of playoff contention and they put Iggy on the trading block

QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 16, 2011 -> 09:40 AM) I think some people just base what they say a whole lot more on what they read as opposed to actually watching the games... Yeah, I hated JC when he was with the Bulls and I literally laughed out loud at his shot selection vs the Bulls in the playoffs last season.
-
Am I the only one here who wanted no part of Crawford? He's an inefficient ball hogging chucker with horrific shot selection and couldn't defend my grandmother, at least Rip shoots within the offense, he won't take stupid shots like JC and Rip played with those stingy Pistons defense, he's aware of the concept of playing D, same can't be said of Crawford.

Geez, J4L enjoys being a pessimist, hahaha.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 15, 2011 -> 08:57 AM) I don't recall Lebron having an exceptionally spectacular series, I recall him having what, 1 game where he won it with some ridiculous shots, then another game which was really won by Bosh, then another game which was really won by Haslam, all of which were really punctuated by the Bulls being unable to do anything remotely resembling a competent offense. Basically, if Korver could have hit some of the open shots he got on the outside, the Bulls would have taken that series. If Rose would have been smarter about his shot and drive selections, the Bulls could have taken that series. If the Bulls had a competent additional offensive option, the Bulls could have taken that series. The defense held together pretty darn well, even with LBJ on the opposite side, different guys had to step up just to keep the Heat in the games, but the biggest thing was that the Heat's defense completely clamped down on the Bulls on the interior and mid range jumper game, and the Bulls couldn't spread the floor or make outside shots to take advantage. I totally agree with this post, Korver missed open 3s after open 3s, if he would've hit a few, it would've opened up the floor for Rose. Rip is a nice addition but if we get someone like Iguodala, the Bulls can beat the Heat, the Heat are still weak at the PG and C position like last year.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:06 AM) Chris Broussard @Chris_Broussard 56 sec Reply Retweet Favorite · Open There r only 4 teams Dwight Howard would sign longterm with - Orl, NJ, LAL, Dal - source says. Rules out a possible DRose-D12 duo in CHI Not that we didn't know this. Howard is a douche, joining the Bulls would make him an instant long term title contender and we would deny LBJ and the Heat their 7-8 cships. New Jersey??GTFO

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 14, 2011 -> 10:57 AM) Lombardi: Jay Cutler Could Have Been MVP That's why I hate when QBs try to make a play after an INT, f*** it, don't get involved because only bad can happen like where the Bears are currently at.And they were playing very well, a team like the Bears had as good a shot at knocking off the Pack as any in the NFL in the playoffs under the weather conditions at Lambeau... -

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 11:31 AM) Bleh, I'll stick with the one thing I do actually like about Tboner: you instantly know whether or not someone knows anything about football by their stance on him. This sums it up pretty well. Tebow will fail in the long run...remember when Vince Young had that great start to his career?Where is he now?If you can't throw in the NFL, you will eventually fail. -
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Dec 10, 2011 -> 07:02 PM) In other news, Paulie becomes more of hero to me whenever another person is busted. Big Jim Thome too.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 13, 2011 -> 01:34 AM) Other GM's are complaining now because they thought Stern told Donald Sterling what offers other teams were putting in for Billups so that the CP3 deal can go ahead (with the inclusion of Bledsoe). On another note, Dwight Howard's words today were a bit more encouraging for a Magic fan. There's no doubt he wants that 2nd star to play with in order to stay with Orlando, but how we can pull that off with our roster currently I don't know. What, Big Baby isn't a star??

All the Tebow hype is sickening, there is no come from behind win if the Bears had a competant QB or don't self destruct late in the game, it was way more the Bears losing the game than Tebow winning it for Denver. -

f***ing Tebow sucks but Hanie sucks harder. The season ended for us when Cutler went down, I will never again complain about anything when it comes to Cutler, he makes the s***ty OL and WR corps look competant. -

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 11, 2011 -> 04:45 PM) How in the world does Tebow get so much press? Has to be one of the worst starting QBs I've ever seen. But....he reminds so much of Steve Young! -

So Hanie is our back up, been with us since 2008, in these years of sitting on the bench and "learning the game", just what the hell has he learned?!?He looks lost out there, can't make a throw to save his life and we're most likely gonna lose out the rest of the season. Need to shut out the opponent to have a chance with the suckage known as Hanie. -
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 10, 2011 -> 04:11 PM) HOLY ****! That cloaked starship is 3567.567 times larger than a D'deridex-class B-type Romulan warbird and 1609.344 times larger than a borg cube! We're f'ed!!! lol Nerd alert!

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 12:48 PM) If found to have had the meeting with Howard, the Nets could face stiff fines, a loss of draft picks and perhaps even lose the right to sign him as a free agent next summer or trade for him. Wojnarowski Article So now that the Nets are out of the picture, and the Knicks signing Chandler, it's basically LA or Chicago for Howard, right? It's obvious D12 wants out of Orlando, if the Bulls can offer a better package than the Lakers, we still have a good shot at him?crap, I'm getting my hopes up like last year
-
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 12:30 PM) Supposedly Rose never reached out to any of those guys. I heard somewhere that Rose texted LBJ about wanting to play with him.
-
Obviously we all are hoping we can land Howard, but realistically it's not happening, D12 seems kind of like the dopey front runner kind (LBJ), he's going to end up in LA some way somehow, the Bulls just don't attract mega FAs, Rose doesn't have much pull if all we got last year was Carlos f***ing Boozer, I'm not getting my hopes up this time, we probably won't even get Jefferson
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 9, 2011 -> 12:12 PM) LBJ was a free agent. Not when they were teamates on the US Olympic team, that's when the supposed tampering began.
