QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 9, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) lol. First of all, LeBron wants his MVP back. So that's that. Second, somebody needs to let Derrick know that he's NOT a 3-point shooter and has no business taking 5 a night. I hope you're not suggesting Rose didn't deserve his MVP last season.

QUOTE (zenryan @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 01:51 PM) Let's not get carried away with saying he's top 5. In no order Brees,Brady,Rivers,Eli,Romo,Rodgers,Ryan,Schaub,Big Ben. That is 9 right there and that doesnt include if Peyton comes back. Romo and Ryan are not better than Cutler, would love to see how they do with what Cutler has to work with.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 07:52 PM) f***. Rip, get better. I don't think Rip would've made that much of a difference, the Hawks just took it to the Bulls from the get go and the Bulls played like garbage, it happens. The man, the myth...the legend of Scalabrine sans the Jackie Moon look.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 07:30 PM) Hopefully Thibs puts the bench mob in early enough tonight. We have 3 in a row starting Monday. If they don't cut the deficit considerably by the start of the 4th, might as well rest the starters. I wanna see some J Butler.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 07:11 PM) Lebron James after 1 quarter tonight: 7/7 FG, 8/9 FT, 4 REB, 1 AST, 1 STL, 22 PTS. He's on a different level this year. He's become supernatural. Hopefully he won't be able to keep that up in a compressed season can he?He's been insane so far.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 04:51 PM) Ruskell as the GM is gaining some steam. If he's hired, the press conference was all garbage. As Geddy Lee has been known to belt out, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Adding to your comment and to quote the Who, "meet the new boss, same as the old boss"... I would be very disappointed if it's Ruskell, we need to think outside the box and bring someone in from a winning organization to bring in a new perspective.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 7, 2012 -> 02:01 PM) And yes, I am that guy that wishes injury upon other players. Especially on teams I despise like Miami. lol, I don't wish injury on anyone ever but I'd make an exception with LBJ, hopefully he rolls his ankle in the 1st game of the ECF...seriously though, Miami could win it all even if one of the big 3 go down to injury, as long as it's not LBJ.If it's Wade and Bosh without LeBron, they'll put up a fight but Chicago wins.LBJ isn't messing around this year.

Been watching some Heat games and there's just something that really makes me nervous about this year's LBJ, dude looks like he's on a mission, he added a post up game and looks terrifyingly great so far Next NBA Finals he gets to (most probably this year) he's gonna tear it up so he could shut up the naysayers after last year's Finals. The Heat are his team, forget about Wade.

QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jan 5, 2012 -> 02:56 PM) Not to mention we have the best baseline player in the game in Ronnie Brewer. I think Rose can work a post up game like Kobe, take on the opposing point guards and exploit the defender with his athleticism. He can hit those mid range shots or fade aways all day given his athleticism and his above average mid range shooting. There will be times when teams will throw bigger guards at him or try to double him, but I believe he will be suffice if he throws a pass to a cutting Deng or Brewer, or hit a Noah sneaking in the paint for an easy dunk. I much rather see him exploit a match up in a post up than letting the defense off the hook by jacking up an inconsistent three point shot. Speaking of Kobe, I read in LakersGround that after a Bulls/Lakers game, Kobe gave some advice to Rose and told him to work on a post game so he can elevate his game.
