I honestly think that Trump in the long run will do more damage to the GOP than anyone can imagine right now. His behavior is just not sustainable. At some point the vast majority will reject Trumpism, it is already opposed by the majority of Americans. Either that or this country is truly dumber than we think and it's on full on decline.

I'd love to see Trump end up in prison after all is said and done but that's unlikely.

His poll numbers are also starting to dip below 40%. Looks like it's finally hitting some of the dummies that voted for him that he doesn't give a crap about the poor and elderly, many of which voted for him and all he cares about is spending more on the military and giving his millionaire buddies big tax cuts. Trump might set a record for low approval ratings sometime soon, when they actually see their healthcare being taken away, lol. I've seen many Trump supporters already regretting having voted for him when his proposed budget came out. Some of them depend on those programs he wants to cut, lots of sad situations but I have zero sympathy for them, you were warned that Trump is a major POS, now live with the consequences.
