QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Nov 15, 2015 -> 10:20 AM) I'm not worried about something on this scale happening in the US. In a similar concert venue in the US, those terrorists kill at most ten people before concert-goers who are carrying take them out. In Europe, citizens aren't carrying so there's nobody to stop them from shooting the body count up to a hundred. NSIS But let's take the post at face value. Unless the terrorists are all wearing shirts that clearly identify them as the bad guys (prefrebaly shirts with the words "bad guys"), you most likely will have a scenario where the good guys would be shooting at not only the terrorists but other good guys. Just think about it, you see someone with a gun, how do you know he isn't a terrorist? Cops mistakenly shoot unarmed people all the time, and these are highly trained individuals. Now let's put a dozen or so average armed citizens in a poorly lit concert hall when all hell breaks loose, chaos and confusion, not knowing who is a terrorist and who is just an armed citizen... That's a recipe for a HUGE clusterf***. I'm not anti gun, I've owned handguns before but I know that is a situation I don't ever want to be in, whether I'm carrying or not.

I simply refuse to believe that Greg really believes the stuff he writes GOAT troll

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Nov 13, 2015 -> 03:59 PM) Hillary just came on TV and said this was all due to a Julia Ormond movie released in 1995 Holy s***, are you one callous asshole

Sure TD dropped, Panthers don't wanna win this game lol
-
Then Luck promptly marches the Colts to a TD, lol That's the Luck we're accustomed to

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 2, 2015 -> 08:01 PM) His O Line is terrible and they said he has been playing with multiple broken ribs since week 3 Well, if he is injured, they should be playing Hasselbeck because Luck is just garbage right now.
-
What the hell happened to Luck? He sometimes looks lost and makes terrible decisions far too often.

Congrats Kansas City Royals

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:23 PM) I'm sure there's plenty of teams before 1980 that hit fewer than 139 homers. I meant in the WS, I know it's only 5 games but I didn't watch every game but I could only recall Gordon's game tying HR in GM 1. Anyways, the Royals don't bother me half as much as the Twins, Tigers and Indians. They were bad for so long I'm happy for them in that regard.
-
I wonder what the record for lowest total of HRs for a WS winning team is. This KC team's gotta be there.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 11:13 PM) If it wasn't ball game before, it's ball game now. It was ball game when KC tied in the 9th.

The Royals playing like a NL team
-
You just know the Royals are gonna score here

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 10:08 PM) How did the mets make it to the WS with their shoddy defense? They played the sCrubs
-
Now it's bullpen vs bullpen so this WS is pretty much over today
-
The Mets choke again

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Nov 1, 2015 -> 10:01 PM) I would like to ask what all the mouth-breathing Romo-hating Cowboys fans think of the Weeden/Castle experience. 0-5 without Romo, yet they have been certain for years that the Cowboys have needed to "dump that bum". I can't stand idiot fans. As much as I hate to see this team suck, I hope it teaches them all a lesson not to take Romo for granted. Whoever complains about Romo from now on is an idiot and not to be taken seriously. They were on their way to being one of the top contenders in the NFC and now with Romo out, they might not win another game until he comes back.

Loved the first season of The Knick. Looking forward to season 2.
-
I'll take the Mets pitching over KC offense. I wouldn't mind KC winning though, despite them being division rivals, I just don't dislike them like I do the Twins, Tigers and Indians.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 24, 2015 -> 09:36 AM) He is easy to rip and brings most of it on himself, but DRose may be turning a corner. He is nowhere near 100%, he can't even open his eye all the way, but he played. That is definitely a huge departure from the past. Maybe someone other than Reggie got through to him. Hopefully, his speech about his next contract providing him financial stability was rock bottom. I hope he can stay healthy. Obviously that seems like a pipe dream, but his knees seem fine. He was explosive on the floor, easily as fast and quick as I have seen him since he won the MVP. We can only hope. I haven't given up on the kid.

I'm unapologetic about my Cubs hate. I grew up among Cubs fans, all of them except my brother and another friend were Cubs fans, and this was in the SE side of Chicago, what was supossed to be Sox territory. They actively rooted against the White Sox in 2005 and were miserable when the Sox won. I keep in touch with my childhood friends on FB and let me tell you, after the Mets destroyed the Cubs, I've mercilessly rubbed it in. On paper, the Cubs look good but that is in no way a guarantee they'll ever win it all, baseball is just so unpredictable, that's part of the fun about the game. No one thought the Giants would win 3 WS in 5 years and who thought the Mets would make the WS this year? Here's hoping the Cubs never win a WS, screw them.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Oct 22, 2015 -> 10:53 AM) I'm sorry, but this is kinda laughable. GarPax have been pretty embarrassing at times with their decisions about coaches and player health (if you can pin that on them, which I don't really), but drafting and roster make-up is not one of them. They've earned A's in my book for basically every year. Gibson, Mirotic and Butler were all absolute steals. They "missed" on James Johnson (mid 1st round) and Teague (28th/29th?). They're able to find guys in the late 20's that can play and produce. That's not easy. Thibs needed to go. Plain and simple. They needed a new voice in the locker room. X's and O's don't matter if the players stop listening (and his X's and O's on offense were s***). And rumors were that several players were done with Thibs and wanted him gone. That shouldn't dictate what the Bulls do, necessarily, but it's not a glowing endorsement either. Yup
