Nah, Bannistery and Hovecher both got sent down. It's Ponson then HoRam. The Royals bullpen is slightly stronger this year then last year, but their back end of the rotation is unforgivable.

Anyone else really impressed by the job Billy Beane's done this offseason? The guy seems to be able to overhaul a roster faster then anyone in the majors. Even for a great GM like KW, it'll take him, two or three years, while for Beane every action just seems to be another piece in the puzzle.

Jamie Torres must have a hell of a lot of contacts both in and out of the country. He seems like a decent guy, who putting these kids on good paths, so good for him/

I remember last year that the Cubs delayed calling up Hoffpauir and Pie, because they wanted to make a run at the AAA championship. Can’t see this happening with the Barons. Too much depth as it is.

For all those who were worried about the Royals this year they just optioned Hochever down to AAA, guaranteeing one of Sidney Ponson or Horacio Ramirez making the rotation. So, yeah there goes the theory that the Royals have wizened up.

Does anyone play in CamelBack during the regular season? One of the Dodgers minor league teams, perhaps?
