  1. It’s Jim Callis actually.
  2. That’s my guess right now
  3. Sox sat on him at the regional. I doubt they’d be in on him if they feel he’s 2B only. I think Griffin is the current favorite.
  4. I think Wetherholt can play SS. Changes things. They won’t take a pitcher He was at the Sox game?
  5. Yes.
  6. I mean you can believe whatever you’d like. He hasn’t implied that he’ll be the pick. The Sox have no idea who the pick will be right now.
  7. I actually haven’t heard anything. I just know that the Sox like Bishop Letson so I found it interesting. Teams just aren’t really giving up impact position players in trades Agreed. I’d be very surprised by any Baltimore deal
  8. In later rounds or at 5?
  9. I wonder if it would alter the rest of their plan. I doubt Cags takes a discount.

What is going on in this thread?
  11. Doesn’t seem super serious but rehab takes forever. It sucks
  12. I’m legitimately stunned that another club claimed him. Definitely wasn’t expecting that.
  13. Braves system stinks. I doubt they can get it done
  14. Nobody thinks Cags is pitching as a professional
  15. They’re the worst team in the league. They didn’t expect to be this bad but worst team in the league was 100% on the table from the start. They grabbed players to flip at the deadline. This isn’t tough to understand.
  16. The Cubs are trying to win. The White Sox aren’t. They also believe that Maldonado’s game calling and leadership has helped their young pitching. I don’t understand the fixation on Martin Maldonado. He just doesn’t matter that much.
  17. Getz isn’t feeling heat about anything. I’d still be shocked if he spent his first pick on a first baseman and I also don’t think Cags cuts a deal.
  18. It’s just so risky. They need bats badly and their history with preps arms is bad. Oakie and Bateman seem like two guys they like though.
  19. Kiley McDaniel with a two round mock at ESPN. 5. Jac Caglianone 43. Joey Oakie Iowa prep RHP 68. Connor Foley, RHP, Indiana Oakie played for Sox Area Codes team. Foley was a standout athlete in Indiana. Both make sense but I would hate this strategy.
  20. If they take a college guy at 5, I hope it’s Wetherholt. I bet he ends up going 1:1
  21. I’ve heard both. I’m sure he could stand in left field. Again though, in this class, I just don’t see a reason to take a corner profile at 5
  22. Yeah I actually think Wetherholt is a possibility if they go college at 5.
  23. I actually think Condon and Bazzana might be the only guys the Sox would pay full slot for.
  24. He’s not going to be the best player available because he’s a 1B. If they think he is and they don’t consider the man they work for, they’re even further behind the rest of the league than I thought already. 100%
  25. Cleveland will be underslot regardless of who they take. There’s no reason for it to come down to Cags/Kurtz This is incredibly flawed thinking and I really hope they disagree. When your owner is Jerry Reinsdorf, you need to fill 1B when it’s time to win. Draft the up the middle players who your owner will never pay for on the market. Taking Cags would be super annoying and I’d be very surprised if Chris Getz did that with his first pick ever.
