  1. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ May 9, 2015 -> 01:19 AM) Haha. So is Beck just gonna shine the bench with his ass for a day basically? Noesi & Rodon are starting today, having a guy who could go 3 or 4 innings could be incredibly useful.
  2. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 9, 2015 -> 12:55 AM) Dear lord this is spinning out of control. Just make the move already, stop trying to save him from himself. The problem is Robin is a genuinely-likable guy. They'll have a longer leash with him than someone that is an egotistical jerk like say Ozzie. Also, Reinsdorf's love for Robin isn't going to make firing him any easier.
  3. QUOTE (Jerksticks @ May 9, 2015 -> 01:05 AM) f*** you Levine. Way to go buddy. You get the gold star for CHOOSING to report this, choosing to add strain to an already stressful start to the season. This does nothing positive for the 2015 White Sox. Seriously, the real question is who told him this? Seems like it would be a pretty short list privy to this conversation. Why would you tell a media loser like Levine this information if your goal is a 2015 White Sox championship? This is akin to treason. No offense, but we need MORE Chicago reporters to come out with stories like these. I'm not a Levine fan, but I'm glad he reported this.
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 7, 2015 -> 08:30 PM) Hell yeah, just to have a lefty bat from the C position. Soto and T-Flo stand no chance vs. RHP. I'm honestly thinking there is nothing to lose at this point. Not like Soto has done anything to retain his backup job.
  5. Kottaras off the disabled list in AAA. Is he worth a look?
  6. QUOTE (flavum @ May 6, 2015 -> 09:57 PM) If the Sox lose this game, they'll have the worst record in the league. But everything is fine.- Dick Allen POTY
  7. Nice work Adam, keep this s*** going Avi!
  8. Let's get some f***ing runs!!
  9. QUOTE (raBBit @ May 6, 2015 -> 08:57 PM) Cheers! I am drinking Gringolandia Wheat right now. I've never had but I would recommend. Unfortunately all we got in the kitchen is Summer Shandy, which is not my ideal choice for a Sox game. I'll definitely make note of this Gringolandia Wheat.
  10. Alright I need to start drinking, the team seems to respond well to my alcohol consumption.
  11. Amazing that Simon looks that bad and we barely get a f***ing run.
  12. Good eye Conor! Your turn Lexi!
  13. Good eye Avi! Your turn Conor!
  14. We're about to get swept by the f***ing Twins, Robin's job should not be safe anymore.
  15. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ May 2, 2015 -> 10:46 PM) It was average last year and they improved at most positions, even factoring in regression from Jose and even Eaton. That it's been league worst so far this year is just completely inexplicable IMO. Like rolling a dice and getting snake eyes 3 times in a row. In fact, it's so variant that I think some of it lies with lack of mental preparation and readiness stemming from Robin's poor leadership. I think a major part of the problem is guys are clearly pressing. I don't like blaming a manager for his players' struggles, but when it's widespread across the lineup and for an extended period of time, you really have no other choice.
  16. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 3, 2015 -> 03:15 AM) If the Sox aren't gonna fire Ventura they need to do what the Royals did the year before they won the division. Royals put George Brett in the dugout a month; we need to beg Big Frank to be in the dugout a month. Or Bo Jackson. Bo might even be better. Just do it, White Sox. The status quo is ridiculous. We are 2-10 on the road this year and it's only going to get WAY WORSE. Minnesota has a s*** team, complete s*** and we're about to go 0-4 in Minnie vs. them. I agree. Add Big Frank or Bo Jackson to the dugout a month and we're back in business. The only problem is Frank is super busy right now selling his delicious beer in Berwyn. Let's cross our fingers Bo is available.
  17. We've scored 2 runs or less in 11 of 20 games. Our record in those games is 0-11. By contract, we're 7-1 when we score 3 or more runs.
  18. Balta's thread yesterday reversed-jinxed the pitching, so I'm hoping that this thread will get the offense back on track. So real questions to generate some discussion? 1) Will the offense rebound? Poll included. 2) If not, any ideas on how to fix or spark it? I will say this, we can't afford scoring two or less runs a game much longer and Robin & Rick will need to do something soon if this keeps up.
