  1. Those guys all signed for a lot less though. We also don’t have a large multi million signing to anchor this class, so it begs the question on whenever these guys were in demand and we just didn’t know it or are beneficiaries of the Sox having excess bonus pool and little to spend it on. I really like Paddy, but being part of a Jerry org makes his job incredibly challenging. Hopefully there is a plan here that we just don’t have visibility to, but I’m not aware of a massive Cuban prospect like Cespedes or Colas who funds have been set aside for. For now I’m definitely a little nervous they botched this signing class.
  2. Were Nunez & Hernandez on anyone’s radar though?
  3. Cubs signed three top 20 guys on Pipeline’s list.
  4. Unfortunately Happy Man is a mentally ill individual desperate for attention, so unlikely any truth to this.
  5. This is exactly what we wanted to hear!
  6. I’d not totally against, just depends on price. I saw someone speculating Montgomery would get 3/$30M which seems insane to me. But if Saquon or Pollard can be had at non insane prices I’d be fine with signing either of them.
  7. I don’t think going big at RB makes all that much sense given how far we need to go in terms of overall team improvement. I think someone like Rashaad Penny on the cheap may be the better value play in a committee with Herbert. As for receivers, the WR class is horrific. I’d prioritize Gesecki as a big slot receiver who alongside Claypool could create a ton of mismatches. I’d then take a pure WR in round two or three.
  8. Serious question, but are you a Lions fan? Not meant to be a dig, but on the best day in recent Bears history, all you seem to care about is a divisional rival who didn’t even make the playoffs.
  9. Yup, that would be the ideal outcome.
  10. Colts getting the 4th pick is huge. Could create a nice bidding war between them and the Texans and provides you with a high probability of landing Anderson & Carter regardless of who trades up.
  11. Because it will only get harder for them to trade and acquire a young QB?
  12. The NFL QB scene is a fucking mess right now…it’s going to be glorious to see how big of a haul we can get for the #1.
  13. Some rumors leaked before the game he’s likely out
  14. Texans’ Reddit has their pitchforks & torches out in full force!
  15. Lovie going for two in a completely meaningless game is just pure awesomeness. Can’t imagine how pissed their fans are right now.
  16. LOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Colts scored…17-14 now
  18. 17-7 Texans at half is very promising.
  19. Texans already up 7-0!
  20. Can’t think of a better use and I’m confident it will embarrass him to some extent.
