Bringing back Carlos or signing Ray or Gausman were no brainers. Still can’t believe we passed on all those options and now are so desperate we are dreaming of Cueto starts.

The offense will be fine in general, although likely exploited in the post season. It’s the pitching that’s the concern, in particular the rotation. We have four starting pitchers and zero depth. That’s a big fucking problem when two of the four are injured.

Rick Hahn should be fired. Comes out of the lockout saying pitching will be a priority and adds a guy who was DFAed the previous season and another guy who was going to miss 1/6 of the season at minimum. At least on the pitching side of things, the damage was self inflicted.

He might strike out 60% of the time if you bring him up. At this point you stick with what you got and pray the baseball gods don’t inflict us with further injuries.
