Honestly, I’m one of the biggest Zack Collins fans on this board and I’d love to see Yermin run away with the job. Thank god they made the right call and didn’t force Lecroy on this roster.

I don’t want him sitting every third day either, but Collins was scheduled to catch today and I’d like to see Yermin get another start. Obviously we could kick Collins to the bench but I’d really like to see hit bat tonight as well.

Eloy at 1B seems like a bad idea, just make him the DH long-term if Vaughn or eventually Colas can take hold of LF.

Collins is the backup catcher...Mercedes is a DH only type who can play catcher in an emergency situation. They are not the same thing.
