Chase has changed the entire complexion of the team.

Massive difference in their selectiveness. I’d wager Meidroth swings less than any player in baseball whereas Madrigal’s game was make contact at all costs.

Kid ain’t swinging unless it’s a pitch he likes. His intelligence at the plate is legit next level. It’s just something White Sox fans haven’t been exposed to much during the past regime, but it’s super enjoyable to finally watch a player who regularly makes smart swing decisions.

That’s awesome to hear. In all seriousness, he’s just a fun prospect to cheer for because his game is all built off of skill vs. physical tools and he’s truly elite at what he excels at. There just aren’t many prospects with his profile.

Nothing else matters. If Meidroth busts, add five years to the rebuild.

Look at all that beautiful red! I know it gets @tray all hot & heavy too. And 1st percentile for Z-swing with 85th percentile O-swing shows how selective this dude is. Kid is a fucking unicorn.

If someone were called up on the 10th, then that should be day one and they are the roster for April for 21 days. When calculating the duration of a period you need to take the difference in end dates and then add one. So in this case, 30 - 10 + 1 = 21.

April = 21 May = 31 Jun = 30 Jul = 31 Aug = 31 Sep = 28 Total = 172

Just to be clear, tomorrow is the first day you can call someone up and get the extra year of team control. Hopefully Meidroth is on a flight up tomorrow for a revenge series with the Red Sox.
