Well, the only reason I voted Cooper is because I think that the White Sox want to bring up a guy who can do well and is not a guy with a potentially HUGE future. I think that they are waiting on Cotts and Diaz for Spring 2004. I think Cooper is a year younger than Porzio, and the stats he's put up over 20 starts in AAA are impressive enough for a promotion.

Man if we got Garcia and Coop did his job and turned Garcia into the GOOD Garcia, we'd have 5 aces . Plus I bet that Seattle wanted Crede, and that's a no no, as we have heard from the Ponson talks.

It just so happens that Loaiza, Buehrle, Colon, and Garland have been fantastic. The offense has just ignited. Plus Frank Thomas hit career HR no. 400! The Sox snapped their 8 game winning streak yesterday losing 10-6 vs. Tampa. Mike Porzio and Rick White were terrible. And now we are just 4 back, not bad....Ginter was brought up for Porzio, Wunsch was solid in his first game back, and that's about it.

The funny thing is that Porzio is like 30 years old. Brian Cooper's doing waaaaaaaaaaaaay better in AAA but hasn't been brought up. And Coop, he's 29. It's not like we'd be ruining a great prospect or anything.

Do you think with the Pirate firesale we could get Suppan from them? He can't be that bad..as long as we don't give up another Wells, Fogg, and Lowe for another Pirate pitcher. I guess we could unload Brian Cooper for him? Pittsburgh would accept him and cut payroll. You think it'd be a good move?
