Not that anyone really cares but I just watched RHP Michael Bowden pitch again tonight as his team advanced to the super sectionals. He went 5 IP with 5H and 1 ER Easily his worst outing of the year as he served up a 360 ft homer for the ER. Anyone have any projections where he will go? I was thinking Compensation/Early 2nd?

This is a HUGE game IMHO. Gotta prove that we weren't phased by a tough loss and having to fly to the west after a getawayday turned marathon. Huge game for Freddy with a taxed pen. Just seems like a big big game to me. 2 of 3 is a must.

Ugly ugly series forthcoming with our flyball pitchers in Coors. Also a burnt out pen and a generally tired team. Regardless, Colorado isn't good and 2 of 3 is a MUST

Ouch. This could turn out to be two losses in one. 1) Bullpen will be gassed tomorrow 2) Overall tired team after a 4 hour game and plane trip 3) Depressing loss. One of Freddy's biggest starts of the year IMHO. Gotta put this ugly loss behind us and give the bullpen a rest.

What if one positive Timo has over Willie? Willie can pinch run, Timo can't. Willie is a way way better defender. Willie can draw more walks. Willie is a better contract hitter.
