I saw an infographic recently pretty much showing how almost every other 1st round college bat has been tearing it up. Much sads.

Luck was also my conclusion. Ugh.

How does one win now when the minors is largely bereft of talent, the org won't invest in player development, the "core" is bad, and they also won't break the bank on free agents?

This organization deserves an even worse season next year.

I love how the sentiment from all these statements seems to be is that we are going to operate they way we always have, but this time it's going to be faster!

It just feels so absolutely dreadful that the one chance we had at meaningful change to the organization finally happens, and they are promoting from within. I'm tired of rooting for failure so change is made at the top. Because here we are with an open window to finally do something differently, and the organization trips all over itself in order to do it the same damn way it's always been done.

I hope attendance reflects this next season.
