  1. They are testing the wave. When 2 waves collide...explosion?
  2. Huh, the Mythbusters are there. I laughed when they said "Hello" and the announcer said "Hello!"
  3. I was gonna head to the Chicago satellite rally, but couldn't get any friends to go with. Oh well, watching it right now.
  4. Prince Fielder is not a FA
  5. ...the hell?
  6. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 08:08 AM) Lilnk Also, Escobar developing int a nice chip right here (Let's face it, with Alexei/Gordon/Morel, there's little room for Escobar on the MLB roster in a few years barring a trade).

My nickname for him "Laundry Baby Pimp", because my brother said to his wife "Baby, wanna see why Juan Uribe is a Pimp?" and she misheard it greatly.

I wanted Juan to be our 3B coming into this year. I miss that guy.
  9. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 25, 2010 -> 01:10 PM) I'm enjoying Fallout New Vegas but I don't find the story or characters as engrossing as Fallout 3. Same here...just don't feel motivated to find this checkered suit guy as much as I did the Lone Wanderer's Father.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 07:49 PM) If he can be signed for super-cheap, and if TCQ is still around as maybe a DH, then I'd be all for signing him as the other side of the combo. Between those two and their potential, and injury history, I'd say that makes a good DH combo. Like Kotsay/Jones, except, not washed up. This.
  11. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 10:45 PM) Can't even get angry about that loss. This team will be just fine especially when Carlos comes back. Nice to see Noah continue to be a f***in monster. As for the Thunder, there's only one more game I'm rooting against them the rest of the season, those guys are a blast to watch. Brewer & Korver need to get healthy. Keith Bogans can't play 36 minutes a game. I also would have liked to see Asik or JJ get some minutes over Scal.
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 08:31 AM) T R U must be distraught. I know how much of a HUGE Heat fan he is. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 02:49 PM) I may as well remind folks...we have a separate board, Talkbulls, which would love to have you visit, and post in game threads if you were so inclined! I really think TalkBulls would benefit from being a sub-board here. Half of what makes this board great is that its got the non-Baseball boards, and TalkBulls lacks that.
  13. I want all 3 + Kong. But in reality, I see none of those happening. Soriano would cost a pick while being insanely expensive, we don't have the bullets for Fielder without Hudson (who Milwaukee wouldn't take until he was in the NL anyway), and Kemp is a right handed, bad defensive right fielder, which I hope we try to get away from.
  14. Hooray for the Celtics.
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 23, 2010 -> 10:52 PM) It's not like Roy Halladay did like s***. Yes, but Lee-Halladay-Oswalt-Hamels would have been beyond lethal. For starters, Joe Blanton doesn't start a game. Also, Brian Wilson is awesome.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 23, 2010 -> 10:51 PM) So the Heat signed Stackhouse? WTF? NM. I guess Mike Miller is going to be out until possible January? So I guess this is just a stop-gap until he's healthy. I don't see what the hell Stackhouse offers to this team. I was about to answer it, then you answered it. The Heat are becoming fascinating with their old bench.
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 23, 2010 -> 10:49 PM) True. Though we get our first real look at Dominic Brown next year. And they've still got a really good system. I hope we don't have to hear s*** about Cliff Lee. The Phillies simply didn't hit like they have in the past. Still, with the way Lee is going this post season, i's hard to say that trade wasn't bad.
  18. My school (as of next year) is making Oklahoma sweat.
  19. Ugh....ESPN literally just said "It's so hard for Brian Cashman to make these decisions" in reference to getting Crawford or Lee. Yea, so ****ing hard.
  20. A-Rod looking. Beautiful.
  21. Based off previous years attendance: The Miami Heat. Ok, but in all seriousness I'd assume the Raptors and Grizzlies are sure things, Clippers, Kings, Bobcats, Nets, Hornets, Timberwolves are all on the short list.
  22. My computer can't run games real well. Last game I bought for a PC that was a high end game was Oblivion...dropped $80 on it and it's expansions...to realize it couldn't work with my PC. I've stayed away since then.
  23. I feel bad for Phegley. Mitchell is doing fine considering the rust.
  24. Alexei's gonna get the SS. He deserves to be a GG/SS though, stupid Jeter.
