Josie's on a vacation far away?

This park is cavernous. Wasn't it supposed to be a launching pad?

So, what do the Bulls do from here? They have 3 holes left Extra Big - Brad Miller Backup Point - Bouldin or Lucas Extra Shooter - Trade for Henry, sign Mason, last resort Byars.

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 06:49 PM) Quinarvy, that was a great article. Thanks for posting it. You know, I've always thought LeBron was an egomaniacal douchebag. It's become apparent in these last few weeks that he is an easily manipulated, insecure dope as well. Riley and Wade knew how to exploit that in their favor. There was a funny quote from a fan in the recent Bill Simmons article - The All LeBron soundoff: I've figured out the moral of the story: Stay in school. Wade: 3 years at Marquette Bosh: 1 year at Georgia Tech The kid from Akron: no college The most educated guy convinced his dumber friends to come play on his team for less money. Haha :lolhitting

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) Not sure why, but when I first glanced at that, the way you posted it, I thought it was position followed by player. I was looking forward to Andruw Jones catching, Paul Koernko in CF and Gavin Floyd playing 2B. I'm sad this is not the case. Rios at SS, Lilli (Q originally) at 1B, Lexi in LF and Pierre pitching would be something to behold. Edit: Thank god for MLB The Show.

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AoEl...reeagency071610 Really good article on how LeBron lacks professionalism and the rivalry between Maverick Carter (at least in Mav's eyes) and World Wide Wes, which I think ultimately cost the Bulls LeBron. Best part: LeBron, if thats why you didn't come here, you're an idiot. Edit: Holy **** http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id...s-with-team-usa

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 05:18 PM) I think I used the wrong spelling, I was going for "Smeagol" as in Gollum to go with the reference of Lord of the Rings. As in once Smeagol got the ring, he became evil and eventually lost the ring. LeBron can't lose what he doesn't have...

QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 04:32 PM) - MLB Trade Rumors And on to Dan Haren or Adam Dunn. Though what would they do with Gordon? They have Weeks and Escobar...

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 04:18 PM) So, neglecting trade candidates, is there anyone left on the FA market that fills your request? Not a good sniper, which is what they need more.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 03:15 PM) Would have been the smart move for us too. What the **** don't you understand about 'Mark Kotsay is the best all around player on our team?' LEAVE HIM ALONE. QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 03:37 PM) Well played Mauer. Well played Mauer.

QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 11:03 AM) It won't happen, but if Buehrle pulled a Moyer and won the same amount of games Moyer did from age 32 on, Buehrle would win over 350 games. That's mind boggling. That's redonkulus.

God I'd love Henry. I would consider offering either the Charlotte Pick + 3 2nd Rounders or Charlotte Pick + Our Pick Next Year By the way, the Bulls can trade the '11 pick, since you can only not trade FUTURE back to backs. So, we couldn't do '11 and '12.

The Phillies trading Cliff Lee at the beginning of the year is one of the worst move ever.

If Kahn had drafted Cousins & Curry instead of Rubio & Wes PG - Flynn SG - Curry SF - Beasley PF - Love C - Cousins That would have a lot more potential in my opinion.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 10:42 AM) If Mark pitched another 10 years without injury and without severe loss in performance, I think he'd get there. None of us know if he wants to do that though. Jamie says he's BSing.

Go for 6 days. It is absolutely miserable there otherwise. Arrive to each of the 4 parks early in the morning. Do something like this: Day 1 Animal Kingdom - Get Fast Passes for Kali River Rapids & Mount Everest as soon as you can, then get one for the other after you use the first. Day 2 Disney's Wide World of Sports / A Water Park - Getting to cool off and see some sports after the large and warm Animal Kingdom is a nice break. Day 3 EPCOT - Get Fast Passes for Soarin' ASAP. Hit all the rides in Future World and take the time in the World Showcase. Best fireworks show in Disney period. Day 4 Hollywood Studios - Fast Pass Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster in either order. Plenty of shows, and the night show is second only to EPCOT Day 5 Downtown Disney/Other Water Park - Let your feet rest, cool off, and enjoy some nightlife to rest up for a final day. Day 6 Magic Kingdom - The mother of all things. Fast Pass Space Mountain ASAP. During the Final Fireworks and Parade are PRIME times to get on to rides with short lines. Fireworks are actually best viewed from the Thunder Mountain Rollercoaster

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 10:29 AM) How? The Grizz are lowballing Xavier Henry... SBNation.com - I know. It just amazes me that the Grizz are doing that. The Charlotte Pick + Utah, Phoenix, and our 2nd rounder for Henry?

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 10:30 AM) If MB pitches another decade or so at this pace (or until he's 40-ish), gets another few trophies of one kind or another (GG, WS, All Star), he's got a good shot. If he adds a Cy Young somewhere in there, he's probably going to make it. But anything less than that, he's a long shot at best. God I hope he does. He already has another GG due to the opening day play / law of repeat. All-Star might be attainable, and hopefully he adds a WS this year.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 08:30 AM) Mark is one of the great examples of players succeeding despite long odds. Drafted in the 38th round (1139th overall) out of a community college, makes it to the majors in less than two years, and wins more games in the current decade then almost any other pitcher in baseball. Awesome. I'd like to think the HoF would lower the standards since the 300 game winner is near done (oddly enough, Buehrle probably has the best chance of all pitchers active to get it still, because he's not a power pitcher and a workhorse. If only he didn't think of hanging it up) and Buehrle would get in with 2 or 3 more All-Star games. I think he and Paulie will both retire Sox and have numbers retired and statues.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 08:29 AM) Ugh. These people need to be taken out back and dealt with Old Yeller style. Or come up with a new party name. They are NOT Republicans. They're ass-backwards retards. (please no one say, "there is! They're the Tea Party.") But...but...gay buttsex will destroy us all...
