  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:37 PM) Kotsay's batting average is approaching .240 and his OBP is approaching .330. Call the police! I don't think we can afford to resign him in the offseason. He will have too high a price tag.
  2. QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 or SoxAce WHO ARE YOU @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 05:58 PM) It's back. Thanks Jeremy. THIS IS CONFUSING TO MY BRAIN.
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:24 PM) 1000 hits for Rios! He'll have 3000 by the time he's Omar's age.
  4. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 07:33 PM) Morel is 3-3 with a 2B and 2 RBI. AVG now up to .306 He is now hitting .432 over his past 10 games. Yes Brent...build that trade value.
  5. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 07:23 PM) Looks like Redick (as expected) has been matched. http://nba.fanhouse.com/2010/07/15/magic-t...fer-from-bulls/ Expect to see a Brewer signing by the end of the weekend. God I hate how some teams do that.
  6. Gordon has been awesome tonight.
  7. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) From CSN Facebook... "After a near-scrap w A.J. tonight, CSNChicago.com's Brett Ballantini says Jim Thome might not be looking at the White Sox as fondly as he did 3 hours earlier..." Huh? What did AJ get in to it about with Thome? The hell?
  8. Soxtalk.com: We have mood swings.
  9. Juan will hit a HR off the foul pole to put us a head.
  10. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:09 PM) The good news? He'll be kept out of the field!!! I have to admit, this was rather funny.
  11. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:08 PM) God damn it, now Quentin might be hurt. ****
  12. Dear Carlos Quentin, You do good with bat, not glove. Stop playing RF. --- Quin
  13. But Quentin is a good hitter, so his defense is good? HE MADE THAT CATCH.
  14. 15. I really, really like Target Field.
  16. QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 07:07 PM) Me no likey no viceido Then teach him to switch hit. Ozzie no likely the lack of the lefty.
  17. Just looked up some old scouting reports from before the draft and it seems Johnson was originally thought to be a Point-Forward in the making. Plus, I said have him at the point *if* he realizes that potential and it would only be for a couple of minutes a game.
  18. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:12 PM) Wow, the Magic are taking their sweet ass time deciding on Redick. I really hate that. I'm sure Marcin Gortat and JJ Redick do too. QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 02:53 PM) afternoon saloon just said theres a report the bulls made an offer to shaq edit: further reported they low-balled him and shaq is probably goin to atlanta...good thing Damn, I was hoping he'd go to the Heat and be a liability. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 04:13 PM) The Bulls "low-balled" Raja Bell too, apparently. In other news, Ronnie Brewer will be a Bull if Redick is matched. ESPN says that Brewer really wants to come here. I'd really like both of them and have a SG-SF rotation of Redick-Brewer-Korver-Deng-Johnson. Hell, maybe if Johnson realizes his Point-Forward potential, he could run the point at times to let Derrick rest.
  19. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:51 PM) I assume it was the touchdown to what'shisface against the 49ers. That was a pretty marvelous play. Yup. I'd still take Buehrle's or (what I think should have won) that college kid going all Willie Mays Hayes and jumping over the catcher to home.
