  1. O' slider sliding value.
  2. CC: Everyone that keeps posting Chuck Garfein and the White Sox Talk Podcast.
  3. Until every last player acquired by Rick Hahn is out of the organization, we're gonna hear the excuse for both Getz and Pedro, "well they didn't acquire those players."
  4. After finally listening to Jerry's part, he was talking about Chris' qualifications and said something along the lines of "A few years ago we made a quiet change. We weren't like our draft picks, so we got rid of the guy making them. Then hired a new guy and we love those picks." Basically just shitting on Hostetler, who is still employed by the team as far as I'm aware, to prop up Getz. If Shirley was a Getz decision (and somehow not KW/Hahn?), it was a good one, but it was hysterical to listen to.
  5. I'm still 100% against AJ as a manager (because I don't want a rookie manager getting the job due to being a White Sox hero), but if he were on a coaching staff or coaching one of the minor league teams, I'd be behind it. I'm afraid he'd go insane because he'd be the only self-aware person in the room.
  6. In case no one has posted this AJ clip yet. He misses some details on players — Sheets was a 2nd rounder (who wasn't even in the on-site camp in 2020!) and Crochet was never in the minor leagues — but god damn does he nail it with Getz' record + the Omar Vizquel situation. Also, mentioning Gavin Sheets. Isn't it a massive indictment that two of the minor leaguers that improved their stock the most in 2020 (Sheets, Burger) were ones that weren't at the on-site camp and took their development into their own hands? Yes, Burger was finally returning from injury, but he still wasn't invited to the on-site camp. But I'm sure Getz had to have some input on who to bring.
  7. Dude knew how to sell bullshit.
  8. Chris Getz is the baseball definition of failing upward.
  9. Good thing the person in charge of the whole org is the guy who was just in charge of developing talent
  10. I couldn't watch, but just going off snippets from here, Twitter and Reddit, I only have one takeaway:
  11. He's basically there to eat innings
  12. That's why I included player development. I feel like Eloy and Moncada are monsters on like, the Rays and Dodgers. The rest of the extensions worked out.
  13. Mario Camilletti and Rikuu Nishida
  14. Hahn was good at selling and locking up talented players with extensions. Bad at buying, free agents and player development. Unfortunately, these are all crucial parts of making those first two succeed.
  15. Man, what if Brent Lillibridge had won the second base job?
  16. If Getz wants to win me over, he'll claim ReyLo and Lucas for the lols
  17. Honestly, if they included an explosion, I would have set up a Patreon for the likely-underpaid graphics department
  18. Sunglasses photo is top tier.
  19. Our entire minor league system will have phenomenal hair.
  20. Dear lord, we'd find out how quickly he compares to Hahn when it comes to deflections and non-answers.
  21. Quin replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
Eh, season is ending soon, he was on fire for so long. Could just be tired.
  22. People have mentioned all the real ones, so I'll add one I said in the Getz thread If Getz is hired, our expectations will be so low that we can only be pleasantly surprised.
