Another thing to take away from this: DJ and Caleb are developing chemistry.

Absolutely wild thread to catch up on. Bravo, y'all. -
Caleb's on his 3rd head coach and 4th offensive play caller in 2 years and he just keeps looking better. And this is just year 1 of Ben Johnson.

Also Kevin Warren is a football terrorist that wants to kill atmospheric games in Chicago weather. Yes, I know a dome objectively makes sense. But there's something special about that crazy lake weather.
-
Also, Cairo and his nerves of steel.

I love Jahdae.

Is “The 78” Dead? Or even more alive? Fire announce plans for SSS

Reinsdorf realized he can't get his money and straight up (partially) sold the team to a guy who could hypothetically build it solo (not saying the Ishbias will, but they have the capital). If JR knows when to throw in the towel on the political bluff, the McCaskeys and Warren should realize Indiana won't work as leverage. -

Prime Gallo with a better BA/OBP is an MVP. I too would take that. -
Man, teams hate the Thunder.

I endorse the White Sox returning to the 90s.

Including the Knights, Barons and Dash.

Part of me hopes fans start a "Fire Warren" chant, just because he wanted the spotlight SO badly right now.
-
Days before their biggest game in years, Warren pisses on everything.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Quin replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Obviously it was over a decade ago and it took a while for Rodon to put it together, but I remember Rodon being the #1 and then the Astros and Marlins decided to drastically overthink it with Aiken and Kolek. In recent memory, was looking up early-rankings from Pipeline. Putting the #1s actual draft spot then the actual #1's pre-season ranking 2019: Bobby Witt #2, Adley Rutschman #2 2020: Emerson Hancock #6, Spencer Torkelson #2 2021: #10 Kumar Rocker, Henry Davis (outside of Top 20) 2022: #5 Elijah Green, Jackson Holliday (outside of Top 20) 2023: #2 Dylan Crews, #4 Paul Skenes 2024: #2 Chase Burns, Travis Bazzana (outside of Top 20) 2025: #4 Ethan Holliday, #9 Eli Willits But I feel like Roch has been hyped more than others except maybe Crews, back to the days of Stras and Harper (though NO ONE has had that hype) -

Learning that three things need to take place 1) Is Carlson as good defensively as billed? 2) Is Roch as good as hyped and the true 1.1? 3) If things play out right, who of Colson, Roch, Bonemer and Carlson profiles as the best outfielder? -
Robert, Sosa and Taylor (since he's not gonna be a starter 🤷♂️)

Mets have infinite money and are just deciding to not spend it. Orioles are absolutely refusing to spend on pitching.
