At the game. Man, Davis Martin deserved better.

The mistake wasn't trading him, it was how it went down. 1) Hahn was working on a TA to Miami deal. Considering Burger was a last second move to Miami by Kenny, I'm guessing TA for Eder might have been the deal. Note: Pure speculation on my part. 2) Considering Burger was on fire and under a lot of control, they should have gotten more than Eder. 3) Hahn had a wild trade deadline on his way out (Quero, Bush and Lee alone make it a win), but @WhiteSox2023 is right: stop letting dudes about to be fired dictate trades.

Like, if he pulls off the impossible and wins at a .600 rate I'd turn into Lillian but I think that's about it.

Between the A's playing "22" and this s%*#, teams need to learn that you cannot anger the baseball gods.

The Sox may be the one team to be penny dumb and pound foolish.

Roster can only expand 2 spots, so hopefully some of the teams dead weight will get jettisoned shortly.

28 blown saves and the worst bullpen in the league definitely contributes to losing. Also Getz brought in the starting catcher, SS, 2B, RF (Fletcher counts, even if he quickly entered a lazy susan). Getz has had so many bites at the apple of getting good players on the roster — @fathomknows the actual number — that at some boy he can put on his big boy pants and actually be held responsible for the players he put on the roster.

And then at the first of struggle (or, in Colas' case, breathing), it's back to the minors, because otherwise they might lose games. Wait a minute...

Fans aren't getting shot, I guess.

On one hand, I want him to do this correctly. On the other hand, it would be really fucking funny if he hired David Eckstein.
