  1. Have to wonder if the team bought into the rumor Tony would be moved up and someone else in charge. I guess they are disappointed.
  2. Unfortunately that is the only thing they are good at.
  3. Well Q use to bat before the NL went DH. He could pinch hit for Leury. Oh wait that is one of Tony's unwritten rules in piss poor management.
  4. Just a though but our pitchers were better without Grandal behind the plate. Except for Lynn, I'm not watching because it's Crapple TV.
  5. Plus ditch Boston and McEwing.
  6. I wouldn't be surprised if nothing happens.
  7. If La Russa would have given up his job he would be my MVP.
  8. The argument is maybe they weren't good enough despite the giddyness of getting Grandal. You can trace the Sox history back to Jake Peavy. The other factor is how it worked for other teams. They are not the White Sox. It just doesn't work for the Sox. A scout can watch all day and we can look at paper but yet it rarely works. Even in Vegas setting the odds they look at history.
  9. That's a lot of confinement. The best trade Hahn can do is none at all. Let it be a lesson and be active in the FA market for 2023.
  10. I wouldn't assume any NL bat is going to come in and make a difference right away since they haven't faced AL pitching. Sox have back luck with NL guys. How will it be different this time?
  11. I think that is the stopping point.
  12. If the rumor is true that Tony moving up at the break maybe the team is very happy.
  13. Until Leury is put out there.
  14. He's not bad if used wisely. There more he plays it aint no secret he terrible.
  15. With the game this close expect a Joe Kelly appearance.
  16. Stone pointed that out some time ago. Pitchers were afraid to throw certain pitches knowing he's mishandle it.
  17. Sox seem to score under 2 runs after a game when they score 6 or more.
  18. There's a bottom to it? The other day I heard Stone the other day talking about the 70's Sox D. If death were not the option would you use Ralph Garr or Eloy?
  19. They do for the Sox. This one is rare and also rare for their dumpster diving. It's an uneven list. You can put it on the board, Yes!
  20. Yet some think they should trade him at the deadline. It's one of those rare dumpster dives that worked that will probably continue to promote that habit. He'd been a big influence on ReyLo who is a stud mid relief guy now.
  21. Athletes have this habit of wanting to compete. Life has to be dull on the IL. I think Liam decide to be a political analyst on his stint. Fans are also into the "Strasburg Syndrome". If a pitcher isn't doing well shut them down. I don't think any athlete wants to stop when they suck. I do question the toughness of some athletes not playing hurt. I still remember watching the Sox against a very good Tigers team with Miggy limping around playing 3rd.
  22. When Hahn was an assistant he was one of the highest paid because other organizations wanted him.
