9/26/12 GT Indians @ Sox 7:10pm WCIU
QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 26, 2012 -> 07:43 PM) They are fluid for arm chair Quarterbacks. I would hope they are not for million dollar corporations who had very low expectations this year and Robin has exceeded them all. He took a team that most were predicting to be terrible and they were contenders. With a year under his belt and some fine tuning, there is no reason to believe he cant improve. But I do enjoy all the laughs people are providing. Not buying this excuse. There are other coaches on the bench who should be helping him out.

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians
Only 13,797 showed up today. I wonder if the casual fan has bought into "August came late". Sox bats are great for extended slumps. The manager has done little to make changes in the lineup. 2003, 2006-present show little to have any optimism.

Hawk and Stone, most biased announcers
Does anyone remember the biased announcing by Chris Berman, 2005 ALDS Sox vs. Red Sox? That's when I stopped watching ESPN.

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 06:38 PM) Well yeah, but the Tigers gave up a ton more than the Sox did to get Sanchez (and Infante) Infante has not been the defensive upgrade they were hoping for.

Why I am optimistic on September 24
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 25, 2012 -> 02:59 PM) The Royals starters are garbage. Except when they face the Sox. It becomes a pitching clinic.

Shut down Sale until the playoffs?
Apples and Oranges. They are winning without Strasburg. (wish we had Gio back). Sox can't win without Sale.

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) It's a horrible decision by McEwing when you consider the Indians missed the initial cut-off man and he was still out. Stink spreads. What can you do? Sox are really good leaving guys stranded at 3rd.

Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians
QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 07:01 PM) Here's the $64,000 question: is the offense choking, tired because Robin has used the regulars too much this year, or some combination of both? And, if think it's both, is it MORE the choking part or the tired part? I'm still waitin for Cabrera and Fielder to get tired. They will probably play more games than anyone on this team.

Why I am optimistic on September 24
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 11:54 AM) Well, you are just a better fan than me. I just think the White Sox have responded to this pennant race in horrible fashion. Horrible. History is on your side.

2012 MLB Catch All thread
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 19, 2012 -> 01:52 AM) Though seriously, Ozzie, please stop. I want to see you have a good managerial career again. At this rate, you won't have a job in two years. He'll be a host on Dumbest Videos with Tanya Harding.

The Miami Marlins thread
The whole situation since their is existence is dumb. Baseball might only be popular in Miami around March.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
Tiger total of 4 errors in the double header. Is that possible? I guess it is.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 09:13 PM) Saw this earlier on twitter but apparently Bud Selig will be changing the division name to AL COMEDY CENTRAL for next year. He should put Houston in there for the heck of it.
-
GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
Split a series with the Twins at home. (that's bad) Since when did the Royals and Twins start liking the Sox?
-
GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
Tigers 3 errors. Selig should just step and give the division to the Royals. Neither the Sox or Tigers want this division.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) Garcia, Peralta, Avila ? Oops. My bad.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
Twins have to go thru the best part of the Tigers order.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 09:03 PM) Valverde is my least favorite player in MLB... Twins 2-1. He should be your favorite.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 09:00 PM) Not to be overly negative, but can you remember a series in which the Tigers laid down and died, so to speak, and competed less than this past one? It was like three games of blah which is baffling to say the least. Do these guys even want the postseason or would they rather start fishin' and huntin' in a week? Somewhere in Motown there's a post with the same exact sentiments.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (flavum @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 05:33 PM) I agree. I'm hoping for a nice surprise tonight in Detroit, and change that to 7-3. 5-5 would do it if Detroit goes 4-6. I hope they go 0-10.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (RZZZA @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 05:24 PM) slumps can't last forever Thats the only thing giving me some hope It might end in 10 days.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 05:21 PM) Seems like it's the opposition's 3 and 4 hitters that are killing the Sox of late (Gordon/Butler, Pujols/Morales, Ruth/Fielder) Seems like it's the our 3 and 4 hitters that are killing the Sox of late.

GT: 9/23: Sox vs. Angels
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 05:13 PM) Does Ventura have any idea that Jose Lopez is a much better hitter vs LHP than Hudson? Hudson did. That's why he swung at the first pitch. He just wanted to grab some bench.
