  3. who does NY have pitching games three and four?
  4. Thornton in a pressure situation? GAS CAN.
  5. since the top of the 1st inning, we've outscored NY 10-2

  7. smoke and mirrors show is over for Quintana
  8. holy s***, De Aza has a .782 OPS, lol his OBP is almost .370, unreal
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 26, 2012 -> 10:32 PM) Gavin Floyd is so mysterious. He's either unhittable or f***ing terrible. so he's UNTERRIBLE
  10. voted .220-.229, this just goes to show how ..well i don't want to use the term 'useless' but maybe overexaggerated? batting average is. if you're walking a s***load and hitting bomb after bomb after bomb, well yeah you have a GREAT hitter i'll eat my crow since I predicted he would have another awful season, i was dead wrong there!
  11. Welcome to your new team for 4 months, and then some small market team will overpay for you so they can put butts in the seats. Hopefully you remember how to swing a baseball bat and help us get to the playoffs.
  12. Kenny sure does love his past-their-prime players. Vizquel, Griffey, Hudson, Youkilis, Ramirez edit: forgot the dreaded one
  13. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jun 20, 2012 -> 11:01 AM) Well, we play like absolute horse s*** at home. Could that have anything to do with it? not to mention, the more people at the park seems to correlate with worse play, they're all mental midgets. Thornton and Floyd are King and Queen Midget
  14. I'd imagine they'd negotiate with Barry to see if Jake would be willing to do some sort of buyout+re-sign on a new deal. I'd hate to see Jake leave after this year when he's obviously healthy and dominant now, but my god they need to do something about 2B and 3B. Alexei looks to be on the decline as well, and Viciedo is just sort of... unknown as to how he'll perform the next few years
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 11:50 PM) Zach Stewart's FIP today: 11.36. It's hard to have an FIP that high if you're a starter, even in a single game. He isn't a starter, he's a long reliever/spot starter. I'm sure the Sox know he isn't ready but we have no other options.
  16. this smells of Don Cooper telling Ventura what to do
  17. how is it 1-0? farmer said they tied it up, am I in the bizarro world?
  18. forget about Youkilis, we need to find a couple starters
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 5, 2012 -> 01:16 PM) Injuries, injuries, and more injuries
