June 29, 201213 yr Sad that this game was blacked out for me, as this was probably the game I would most like to have seen. Stupid Albany!
June 29, 201213 yr QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 09:03 PM) Jackin' Dayan! ALEX! ADI! ADA! TAAAAAAAAAANK!
June 29, 201213 yr Axelrod looked great. Holy crap, Viciedo! Reed closing another while making it interesting.
June 29, 201213 yr Tank now with more HRs than Pujols, A-Rod and Fielder. The Yanks just didn't want Youk to beat them.
June 29, 201213 yr Good thing the Sox are playing Tank everyday and not platooning him to boost his trade value.
June 29, 201213 yr Author QUOTE (RME JICO @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 09:08 PM) Tank now with more HRs than Pujols, A-Rod and Fielder. The Yanks just didn't want Youk to beat them. And Brent Lillibridge.
June 29, 201213 yr In the first 8 innings, everything went the Yankees way. Great job by Rios of getting the comeback started in the 9th.
June 29, 201213 yr Ahhhhhh Hell Yea! This was the game I was most worried about in this series. Very nice to come away with a W here. Winning 3 out of 4 suddenly becomes a more distinct possibility. Just pure awesome. When Tank hit that Jack - I think I made our dog pee.
June 29, 201213 yr I thought Jeter's ball was gone.....yikes!! WAY TO GO WHITE SOX!!!! Pretty decent start for Axelrod.
June 29, 201213 yr I love watching this Alex Rios play. Hawk on the radio said he did not like the Axelrod match-up tonight.
June 29, 201213 yr QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) I love watching this Alex Rios play. Hawk on the radio said he did not like the Axelrod match-up tonight. Speaking of which, I need to continue doubting our pitchers just as much as Marty needs to continue doubting Viciedo. I keep thinking Q and A will fall apart but they just keep chugging along! Love the taste of my own foot.
June 29, 201213 yr QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 07:14 PM) I love watching this Alex Rios play. Hawk on the radio said he did not like the Axelrod match-up tonight. I don't think anybody like the Axelrod match up lol. But he did the best thing he will ever do in his career tonight haha.
June 29, 201213 yr So many times as a kid I watched or listened to Bob Elson on the radio as the Yankees beat us just like we beat them tonight. Wins against the Yankees, especially in the Bronx are always special for me.
June 29, 201213 yr Weird game, Huge win! Both starters extremely fortunate, but Axe showed some stones in key AB's. The next three matchups are all much better for us than tonight.
June 29, 201213 yr Great win! Let's have Quintana beat the rookie tomorrow, and 3 out of 4 or a sweep looks possible. Could go a long way to win the division.
June 29, 201213 yr Looked like a pretty wide strike zone being called. That plays well for Axelrod and they took advantage. That works for me.

June 29, 201213 yr QUOTE (G&T @ Jun 28, 2012 -> 10:33 PM) Looked like a pretty wide strike zone being called. That plays well for Axelrod and they took advantage. That works for me. Really? Gamecast made it look like half the balls were actually strikes. Either way, it worked out for our Arod!
