After his outing on Sat, I would definitely deny any interest on Shingo . I still support Shingo, here's to hoping he can turn it around like he almost did before yesterday's game

Schmidt is way too expensive. I saw the highlights of Burnett's last start against Brewers where he gave a couple of runs in the first and then strike out a ton of batters. If we do get him, we better make sure to sign him.

For us to hold down the Twins and the Tribe for the Central title, our offense needs to wake up. During the all star game, I believe they said we have the 2nd fewest hits in MLB.

If the Marlins want Contreras, I'll do that trade!

Fuentes would be an awesome addition but Rox wont trade him. Burnett is gonna make our rotation great. Whoever trades for him they need to sign him. Buerhle, Freddy, AJ, Garland that is awesome.

I am not worried about Gooch. So far, he has hit pretty well. Just remember he was a HR hitter in Japan and he has not seen these pitchers also. He will make his adjusments as pitchers do.

Great start of course. I would have never imagined being the best team in baseball. Good job by KW and Ozzie changing the players on our team. I still trust Shingo and I believe he will turn it around. Cuban pitchers and Marte better step it up. Uribe, Crede, Arow needs to play a lot better. KW will get us additional pitchers to help our rotation and bullpen. Our hitters need to walk more and make opposing pitchers work harder.

WOW, that is a surprising move. I guess we'll wait and see what happens to him in the minors. If he make his adjustments, he will be back with the cubs soon. But if he continues to strike out, would they trade him?
