Well, Shuck has an 82 career OPS+ compared to Danks' 74, but Danks plays all three OF positions well and in a backup OF that's probably more important than being a slightly less s***ty hitter.

In the AL, there is room on a team for a guy like Danks who runs well and plays all three OF positions well. Better keeping him as your 4th OF than an actual prospect who needs to be playing every day. Wilkins and Carroll are guys who you can outright because they will likely just stay in the organization anyway.

Such a funny game when one position takes up half your roster.

I'm not saying that LGarcia is terribly valuable, but I think there are several guys even less valuable than him: Belisario, Mitchell, Wilkins and Phegley. LGarcia at least has the ability to be a 25th guy on the roster because he can play every position.
