My friends do this at the port city so they aren't carrying the booze on the plane, just the ship, and supposedly there isn't as much scrutiny on the ships.

Was your booze in booze containers? I've never been on a cruise, but I have friends that go on lots of cruises, and they claim that they can get it on by putting it in water/soda containers.

The Cincinnati and Louisville metro areas really should be on Central time as well, but given that they aren't it does make some sense to keep those IN counties on Eastern. Even so, I spend very little time in Louisville so I wouldn't mind being on Central.

I wouldn't necessarily take less for DeAza. DeAza has a lot of value in that he can be a platoon starter/lefty pinch hitter/defensive replacement type of guy. Viciedo's skill set is such that he either becomes a legit middle of the order bat or he's out of baseball.

I meant more along the lines of allowing two people on the plane with stolen passports. Interpol keeps a pretty good database, and it's not hard to run your passenger list through it. I would think a country as well off as Malaysia would do this, but I guess not. Also, Malaysia seems to be an odd target for terrorism. There aren't any groups that I'm aware of that are pissed off at Malaysia.

Especially since so much of the country is already in the wrong time zone to begin with. The boundary between Eastern and Central should be near Columbus, OH. Sunrise this morning in South Bend was 8:06. That's obscene. Even where I am, which is much farther south and a bit farther east, sunrise was at 8:02. This is the time of year when I really, really wish I lived in NW Indiana.

I'm probably more in favor of trading Viciedo than anybody here, and even I don't see Saunders as being a good return. I like his defense and his ability to take walks is something the Sox are still sorely lacking, but his contact rate is pretty poor for somebody who is not a slugger, and the Sox don't really need anymore lefty outfielders unless DeAza is also going away in a separate deal.

That is exactly why we keep passing it over as a potential vacation spot.

I don't doubt that it happened. While the Red Cross does do a lot of good, quite a bit (too much IMO) of their receipts go to staff and marketing as opposed to actual aid. Still, they are able to provide the volume of financial resources in a mega crisis that Occupy couldn't come close to matching. Still, if you're one of the victims who had Occupy folks bringing you stuff while the Red Cross people were getting pictures taken, not much is going to change your opinion of the two groups.
