Not just the last place schedule, but playing in the AFC South and getting to play TEN and JAX twice each. They did beat MIN and GB though.

Right, but I think the idea is that maybe one of those guys can be packaged with Floyd to get an even bigger bat or perhaps a middle infielder that can hit, so there's more than just replacing one of them with Kubel.

You are correct in that there is no Sunday night game in Week 17. Teams complained about the potential Sunday night/Saturday afternoon turnaround for a playoff game.

I'd have a hard time seeing any team making an offer that would make the Sox consider giving up Nate Jones.

I have a few more details but unfortunately they are not good ones. She had back surgery last night and though it was a complicated surgery, she had come out of it OK and was in recovery with normal vitals. Sometime during a 40-minute interval between nurses checking in, she stopped breathing and her heart stopped beating. They were able to restart her heart, but she has never regained consciousness, and doctors have confirmed that she has extensive heart damage and no brain activity. They are going to keep her alive for 24 hours per what I guess is standard procedure, but she's more or less gone. I lost my Dad in January at age 66 and now my sister in December at age 35. What an awful year.

No reason they couldn't get 5 teams and have a 12 team league. Xavier, Dayton, and Butler are quality programs plus they give you a presence in Indiana and Ohio. Duquesne isn't nearly as good a program but they bring the Pittsburgh market. Maybe St. Louis if you want to reach that far west.

If she set a limit, you should spend about 10% over the limit. It's enough to show that you will go above and beyond for her, but not so much as to make her feel that you don't respect the limits that she sets.
