Steve Stone with a dose of reality for Sox fans
Look. Here's what it is atleast with me. My patience is pretty low because this is the same group of guys that haven't been able to build a winning club the entire time they've been here. Kenny sure but that was a while ago. If those guys had been fired and a new group had been brought in with a good track record there would be much much more patience on my end. But right now especially after the Manny debacle they can kick rocks. I'm going to be critical of them until I start seeing results.

I'll answer your last question. Zero. Beane is a far superior Exec. Stone ofcourse followed up this tweet with the "Stay with us or don't" as if he's completely deaf to the bullshit in politics this week.

Abreu unhappy with roster decisions (seems to want Luis Robert up)
They aren't. Plain and simple. It's very obvious that the front office has zero desire to do that right now.

It's because Jose isn't looking at the long term as Rick Hahn would say. Give it a decade. Then we'll be in Portland.

And he would be correct. Rick Hahn has done a piss poor job of even getting fillers on this team that can hold the fort.

To Sell or Not to Sell?
See different from years past...still stink. But we're asking more. Making progress!! In 10 years we'll be at .500 again.

To Sell or Not to Sell?
See here's the thing. If they want to compete next year why even think about moving them for whatever you can get? I'm pretty certain they don't want to do another overhaul of the pen again. I see you said 2021 on a post later. I don't think their goal is to start flipping the switch in that year. It should be next year. In any case if they still think 2020 is a rebuild year then free agency they should just stand pat.

To Sell or Not to Sell?
Taking whatever you can get for Colome would be silly. He has another year of control.

To Sell or Not to Sell?
I'd rather him not trade if the offers aren't good enough. He should be asking for a kings ransom for our relievers and accept no less.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Yes. KC Johnson said they werent even remotely interested at the price tag that he ended up getting plus the picks. He was just trying to guess and get the news right since weeks before free agency there was a report that they might pursue him.

I mean...this wasn't even remotely true.

I thought he missed something fairly large not too long ago...I'm gonna take this with a grain of salt.

Luis Robert kills it in his first game in AAA
I'm not sure they have a good reputation with players outside currently playing. We have yet to see in free agency any of the good rep manifest itself. If they keep offering stupid contracts like they did with Manny and playing service time games that won't help either.

Luis Robert kills it in his first game in AAA
I'm not sure their reputation is all that great to begin with. Padres scored some points with Tatis. But Rick isn't going to do lets say the "right" thing.

Luis Robert kills it in his first game in AAA
They wouldn't be in big trouble. Probably fined. All in all it's bullshit. Robert is ready to play.

Luis Robert kills it in his first game in AAA
Honestly it would just be better if they came out and said he's staying down because of service time. But Rick loves to BS everyone so that's not going to happen.

"He's very very very very very very close....very close".
