Tyler Flowers, Avi Garcia and Linebrink were some of my least favorite. But Adam LaRoche is easily my least favorite now.

Just because we're one of the three teams doesn't mean we have a good chance. Carmelo Anthony visited Chicago. They had a slim chance of signing him. Why? Because NY could offer him much more money. Good chance that happens here.

I think the chance we sign either right now is remote at best. Definitely for Manny. I don't believe we offer the most money to beat out the Phillies.

Well it does and it doesn't. It doesn't strategy wise in some ways for the team. But for the overall sport I think it does.

I think atleast like what the NBA and NFL do....a short period where teams can legally "tamper" might get the ball moving a little bit more. Then have a hard deadline to get the signings going the first few days. It doesn't seem like there's really any need for the Winter Meetings.
