I'm not really a football expert but was Conte doing his job there or did he completely goof up.

QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 11:12 AM) They hardly ever call a delay of game in that situtation. They always give that extra 1/2 second. Yeah.... right. I guarantee if the roles we're reversed, you'd be screaming bloody murder.

NYC Sends Gun Confiscation Notice
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 30, 2013 -> 10:21 AM) Gunshots are rarely fatal, you got to hit them in a vital organ and/or medical care has to be far, far away or wholly inadequate. Duke, come on now man. That's just ridiculous.

The delay of game penalty they missed was pretty bad. The ball at the one yard line was another, how in the world was that touch back is beyond me. Don't get me wrong, the Packers definitely played better when it counted.

NYC Sends Gun Confiscation Notice
In Alabama, that guy was justified in doing what he did. I don't think anyone is debating that. That family is just doing their typical blind loyalty my child was a saint routine. They should just be happy he's dealing with bullet holes and not burying him. What kind of gun did that guy have someone could survive 5 shots? A mosquito?

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 06:43 PM) I disagree, I think he'll be back now As long as his doesn't demand elite QB money. Otherwise, give him the finger and move on.

QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 04:56 PM) Well, he probably would be able to if he played his best QB on the season. McCown does a better job distributing the ball better than Jay.

Hmmm, I usually just wear potent deodorant and use body spray (old spice) and I get a ton of compliments.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 27, 2013 -> 01:26 PM) Robbie Gould has a 87.9 FG% in places other than Solider Field. That's impressive. (84.3% at Soldier Field) Too bad that one kick could have made Sunday's game irrelevant.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 26, 2013 -> 06:51 PM) And the Jason Campbell led Browns put 31 on the board against the Bears. A team with Rodgers under center will likely be able to control the clock a bit more than whatever Matt Flynn was trying to do last week. That being said, I still think this game is a toss-up. O_O

(Insert Celeb Here) is Dead
QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 02:22 PM) Some idiot in New York threw a child off a high rise to get back at his ex-wife. He threw himself off too. I just googled, that makes me queasy.

Wow. I guess I take for granted being close ish to work. I got a good review and a 2% raise. Yeah... I'm so below market rate at this point, I probably should find a new gig.

(Insert Celeb Here) is Dead
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 01:54 PM) I was thinking about that this morning when I was cleaning my AK 47 on the bus. When I walk home from work with it hanging from my shoulder, nobody messes with me. All those other people just walking around without one must live a scared existence. Some people may think that a 5 year old being thrown off a building by his father because of a messy divorce or an 11 year old being killed when the vehicle he is riding in is hit by a carjacker is a far sadder death than someone who was 94 years old and led a full life. But I'm with you. Jesus, what?!? I missed this.

Law/Legal Thread
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 02:02 PM) I would think he'd do a few years with all of those priors, but maybe that's aggressive. And yeah, so that's all basically worthless stuff. Even if he had some kind of case against you for not holding onto his stuff long enough what are the odds he spends the money to file a case in court to get it back? Fair enough. Damn a few years, that's nuts. So is there anyway that he gets off with probation and is released or he's definitely going to the slammer?
