  1. greg, They want starting pitching. Floyd and Q would get it done I think. They have one veteran and one player that would be under their control.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Nov 1, 2012 -> 08:52 AM) A lot of pitchers looked like Aces against the Sox offense in September Touche.
  3. He looked like an "ace" when the Angels swept us out of Anaheim though. ;-)
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 31, 2012 -> 03:37 PM) From all prior reports I had seen, it had seemed that Youkilis was a giant horse's ass off the field, so everything you say sounds about right. How so?
  5. Epic facepalm! Greg is destroying it today!
  6. Morel grows some hair around his nuts and learns how to fuggin' HIT! We shouldn't have to find a 3B we should be able to pull from the farm! Make Morel do hitting drills all winter and bring him up!
  7. Mad respect for Peavy. I hope he comes back with a chip on his shoulder and becomes the SOX's "Verlander" but not WS Verlander. That guys blows.
  8. Watching you guys crush greg is making my day. Please continue.
  9. QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 29, 2012 -> 10:02 AM) I don't consider the Tigers a "rival". This isn't college football. But hey, if you want to hate teams out of jealousy, that's your right. LOL jealousy? Get real!
  10. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Oct 29, 2012 -> 09:40 AM) My team didn't win the World Series, so any joy taken anywhere else is pretty pathetic. Are we really going to lower ourselves to a performance like last Tuesday, where Cubs fans rejoiced all day like it was their super bowl? No one wants to see a disliked rival win a championship.
  11. Greg and his conspiracy theories again. Fielder just can't hit NL pitching... ;-)
  12. Triple Crown Winner caught looking. A ironic ending. Trout for MVP!
  13. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 27, 2012 -> 11:50 PM) The AL Tigers should be embarrassed. Giants should not be up, 3-0. FTFY
  14. Greg it's the internet man, no one hates you. That is somewhat borderline delusions of grandeur.
  15. QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 02:14 PM) Positive thinking I guess... Kind of like when I walk into a store and see a bunch of Cubs stuff and no Sox stuff at all. I just say to myself "Well, they must have just sold out of the Sox stuff already." Haha nice!
  16. Greg is a troll or a very young person. The very nature of his reasoning leads most to believe that. If Detroit wins they will become complacent? I don't even know how to respond to the absurdity of that post. ALL teams are trying to win it all every year. Who says "welp, we won last year, f*** everything else." It feels good to see the GIANTS hammer the overrated Tigers. I did feel bad for Fister though, we may root against a team but noone wants to see people get hurt in the process.
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) Why do many of you want the Giants to win? Detroit is in the gawddam AL, which is our league. WTF is wrong with some people? I do not get it. AL pride??? Some of you assume the AL is the better league. Then let's win the gawddam world series???!!!!!! And it might soften up the Tigers for next season as well. You've got to be kidding me? I can only speak for myself but I absolutely despise De-Toilet. I will never bring myself to root for those clowns. Last year I felt differently but after they went on a spending frenzy and on top of all the hype, I just want them to fall flat on their faces. I loved how everyone was on Verlander's nutsack and in one game, he looks completely fuggin' human! I bleed black and white! GO SOX! F*** DE-TOILET! GO GIANTS!
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 01:36 PM) Let me know when one of you is scheduled to call Les Grobstien's show about this AL-NL issue. He will eat you alive, or try to if you say the AL is totally dominant. Grobstein is not the master of all baseball knowledge. Like most people, his opinion's are subjective. So the claim that "he will eat you alive" is also subjective.
  19. Yes I agree, he won't be worth the contract he is looking for but if he finished the season stronger... then maybe. He'll still have a bunch of $$$$$ thrown his way I'm sure.
  20. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 08:49 AM) at the same time, hard to imagine they would be in position for that title without his pre AS break triple crown threat Baseball is a game of what have you done for me lately, right? I mean where would the Giants be without Melky? Definitely not playing the first two games at AT&T Park. I'm not sure what his stats were but I'm sure Melky won the Giants several games to put them in a good position before he was suspended.
  21. QUOTE (oldsox @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 09:19 AM) His best moment in 2012 was when he imitated Peavy in that interview. Link?
  22. No surprise there, his ineptitude cost them a division title subjectively.
  23. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 10:13 PM) JVAJVANA to be honest. Translation?
  24. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 12:53 PM) I would not be surprised if Verlander gets smacked around by the likes Pagan, Scutaro and Sandoval. Watching Scurtaro mash ball after ball and Sandoval being an RBI machine was enjoyable. The Giants are just the better team period. However, I know the saying... anything can happen in the postseason. GO YOU FUGGIN' SF GIANTS!
