  1. Has anyone driven the Mini Cooper Hardtop 4 door? Thinking bout getting one when I get my license in a few months, have always wanted a Mini.
  2. Indiana looked awful last night as well, they lost by 20 to the Magic at home. When Myles Turner doesn't play well, they really struggle so long as you don't let their guards get out of hand.
  3. QUOTE (Boogua @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 01:42 PM) What has Oladipo done that could warrant a deal even close to that? Nothing really, but with the salary cap increasing and some teams going to have $40M - $50M available to spend in the 2017 off-season, he could get that from some team potentially.
  4. QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ Mar 31, 2016 -> 01:06 PM) He's also on a team-friendly contract given the upcoming salary cap increase. I think that makes him pretty close to untouchable to the Bulls. That's partly why I want Orlando to trade Oladipo for him, especially if Vic is going to demand 5/145 for his next deal....
  5. Don't Philly get the Lakers pick if it isn't top 3? I also think the Lakers can't trade 1st rounders in consecutive years, and they owed one next year to Philly via Orlando from memory. I think the Magic would offer Oladipo and their 1st rounder to start a discussion FWIW.
  6. So Bulls fans, if Butler is dealt in the off-season, what would you want for him from say the Magic, Celtics or Lakers for him that's actually realistic?
  7. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 10:00 PM) I hate to pull for a loss, but a draft pick is more valuable than a first round exit. Meant to be a pretty weak draft after the top 4-5 from what I've read though.
  8. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Mar 28, 2016 -> 08:42 AM) Yea your pretty much picking one or the other. Jimmy is better on both sides (as well as better knees) but Rose is still the superstar player when healthy and actually fits Hoiberg's style/system better. Depends if the Bulls ride with Hoiberg long term. Guys like McDermott, Mirotic and Portis for example fit his system. I wonder if they'd re-visit a Butler for Oladipo deal in the off-season. Oladipo would probably fit better in Hoiberg's up-tempo offense, and his jump shot has steadily improved from season to season. That said, Orlando has played much more up-tempo as well in the 2nd half of the season also. It's appealing for Orlando because Oladipo probably wants max, and Butler's on a 5/95 deal from memory. Would Chicago do say Butler for Oladipo and the 8th pick in the upcoming draft I wonder?
  9. Think there's a decent chance Gasol bolts to somewhere such as the Clippers in the off-season now also.
  10. All starts with Rose I reckon, Payton is getting into the paint at will and the Bulls don't exactly have a rim protector as it is. They really need to try and move him in the off-season when the cap goes up.
  11. Don't know what it is because we have been awful in the 2nd half of the season, but Chicago seems to be the one team we play well against.
  12. I wouldn't be opposed at using at least half of that money to our International Scouting / Bonus Pool either as well if we could, with 3 picks already in the top 60, this is a really good chance to build something substantial from the bottom up for the Sox if they do it right.
  13. Whoa, quite the shock there. We obviously haven't had the best of luck when it comes to LH power bats over the past few years, and it was a shame he wasn't able to re-produce what he'd done in Washington last season, but maybe in the coming days this might explain part of it. I assume his contract goes off our payroll now. Interesting to see whether we just go with Garcia or Melky as the DH now, or we try to bring in a LH replacement, as it's been said, Alvarez would have been nice but that ship has sailed.
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 13, 2016 -> 01:59 PM) Lucky. I thought so.
  15. I saw Renee Young here yesterday for SXSW, took a photo as she was filming so I'll have to upload at some stage.
  16. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 6, 2016 -> 05:07 PM) I have to imagine so. LaRoche is such a wild card LaRoche certainly shouldn't get any AB's against lefties now. .383 OPS against them last season. Improves our defense, Garcia / Jackson / Eaton can rotate AB's as a DH against lefties if need be, so I think this move makes a lot of sense. And Jackson has a lot to prove after 2 down seasons. Good time to buy low really.
  17. Nice to see Hezonja show off his game tonight, hasn't made an instant impact like the 4 rookies taken before him, but Skiles has made him earn his minutes, and he's improved a lot defensively from where he started the season. And Aaron Gordon gets another Double - Double, he's got legit start potential if he can develop a jump shot, and turn into a Blake Griffin Lite down the road. As for the Bulls, they were pretty listless on a back to back tonight. I don't know if they'll make the playoffs now with the way Detroit have been playing lately, although there's a while to go yet.
  18. Been the best season to be a West Ham supporter in a long, long time. The North London Derby should be interesting come Saturday.
  19. The Bulls have played as well as this HT entertainment. We really should be winning by 15+ at this point.
  20. Anyone playing the extended Division beta this weekend? Thinking bout getting it if the reviews are good for PC, but it's one of those games where you need a group of friends to play with to really enjoy it I suppose. XCOM2 and Tomb Raider are taking up a fair bit of my time ATM though currently.
  21. Napier for Brooks might be the trade, Bulls would save some Luxury Tax money apparently...
  22. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Feb 18, 2016 -> 11:46 AM) Bulls in discussions for Shabazz Napier Probably for a 2nd rounder or Moore. Although if threw in Nicholson maybe we'd get Tony Snell back or something similar.
  23. I don't think McLemore is that good, and the Bulls already have Butler for the #2 guard spot. If I'm trading Gasol, I'd want at least a good starting SF. Try to get a Gallinari type of player in a 3 team deal or something. Otherwise, you might as well just hang onto Gasol and re-sign him really.
  24. Wonder if OKC would consider a Gasol for Kanter trade actually, although the Bulls would have to add salary as well I'd presume.
  25. Bulls are aggressively shopping Gasol according to Woj. Wonder if they'd get a 1st rounder for him with his expiring contract, Toronto could be a potential fit, they're after a 4.
