  1. Duhon almost has a triple double I see.
  2. Hawks won 6-5 in OT BTW.
  3. Wow I hope Bernie Bickerstaff is going nuts right now.
  4. Gerald Wallace is 6 for 6 from the field. What are they all dunks or something!?
  5. OT: Look at Bogut's stat line, 10 points, 14 rebounds (8 offensive), 4 assists. Milwaulkee look the goods this year. And oh yeah, Indiana may just be the best defensive team in the NBA, if not, they're right up there.
  6. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:11 PM) no but green berets hit bloop singles in the clutch and when they play first base it makes me laugh out loud I love this, I really do. Timo's .220 average with RISP just oozes "Clutchiness".
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:12 PM) Maybe you but not dbaho. Oh please, Jason jumped on board after I talked him up.
  8. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:10 PM) I guarantee he hits 25-35 HR's next year if he played everyday on the Sox. I'd absolutely love to have him on the club. But I think everyone here knows me and you ahve been talking him up for the past year or so. Josh Byrnes is going to have a make a move somewhere there. If they trade Glaus, could they handle Tracy playing everyday at 3rd and hope he gets better defensively? Of course if they want the young pitching they really need, Tracy's probably their best trade chip, unless they decided Conor Jackson was also expendable.
  9. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:09 PM) If we stand pat, we get passed. Next year will be different then this year. Minnesota will be better, and you know Cleveland is only going to improve (especially if they re-sign Millwood).
  10. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:09 PM) timo is like the green beret of the white sox Does a Green Beret have splits of .218/.266/.296 for $1,000,000?
  11. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:08 PM) Jamie Navarro, he's much better than Clemens. Stop living in the past Alex.
  12. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 12:59 PM) you need to be more conservative. trading away a great center feilder and a shaky (not even shaky all the time) reliever for a prospect is rarely ever a good move. A Prospect? LMAO. Chad Tracy hit 27 Home Runs in his 2nd season in the Major Leagues, and had a .911 OPS. He is NOT a prospect.
  13. QUOTE(bighurt2719 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) i love timo. sign him back! And what is with the lure of Timo?
  14. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Oh I'm with you, Sweetney isn't the greatest defender, but at least he has a big body which should help Chandler out when they play against bigger big men. I also think a guy that has a shot to really make a difference on the Bulls is Tim Thomas. Tim is an explosive offensive player who under Skiles could develop into a more decent defensive player. He has the ability to be a plus defensive player, its just a matter of putting the effort into it. If anyone can get him to do that, it is Scott Skiles. I just hope he can get healthy (is he going to play tonight). On a sidenote, Ozzie is in attendance. Sorry Jason, but I can't see Thomas making any type of difference at all. As qwerty said before, he's just lazy who won't buy into any type of system while he's making a lot of $$$$.
  15. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 12:01 PM) Vinny.FOCKING.Castilla. I don't think he's a Free Agent.
  16. Yes I'd take Eyre, or Durazo if Thomas ain't coming back, and we can't fill our DH need via trade.

    Now I could teach you Aussie Slang, but after this thread, now I'm not so sure.........
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 11:56 PM) Greasy, enlighten me on why we're idiots on passing on Danny Granger for Fran Vazquez. :banghead
  19. Now this can only be good for our negotiations with Paulie if this goes down;
  20. QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 11:51 PM) No, that's Casey Daigle, a pitcher with Arizona or TB or something like that. That's why he put the forest green tag in after his sentence.
  21. The NY Daily News;
  22. QUOTE(YASNY @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 07:00 PM) I saw talk of Garland for Dunn. It's that kind of stuff I was talking about. Really there's no point in making that type of deal unless you're able to sign a replacement starter who can still do a very good job for you. And in a weak FA market, that's not going to happen.

    QUOTE(qwerty @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 05:17 PM) No, nothing is worse than cruise and holmes. Yeah I don't think anything can top that. Not for a long time anyways.
  24. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Nov 2, 2005 -> 05:35 PM) Denver CAN win in Indy. They did it with the Q Griffin game at the end of 03 where they had the ball for about 41 minutes. I think they are constructed to be more competitive against them now as the Indy passing game has taken a step backwards. Whether they beat Indy or not, they are as good as anybody in the AFC and could go to2toe with Pittsburgh. The Giants are probably the team I am now pickign to win the NFC because they just have so many weapons on offense. Their D is obviously not the team that played Washington OR the D that gave up 45 to SD. Denver ran for about 190 on them so there are certainly defensive concerns. If they can hold teams to 20 or so points, they are in every game. I just don't know that they are a team built to win in January right now. Right now if Dallas played New York in the playoffs, I'd still like our chances. We match up very well with them, except for Roy Williams pass defensively on Jeremy Shockey. But right now the NFC is very wide open. Denver's success really depends on how effectively they can run the football. They still won't really scare you passing the ball, because Rod Smith and Ashley Lelie even though they're good, they're not great, you've just got to be careful the way they use playaction to get the ball so well to their TE's in Alexander and Putzier and their FB, especially when they get to the red zone.
