  1. With Dye and Hidalgo now off the market, there will be teams interested in Jones, but there could still be some other outfielders available like Jay Gibbons etc. So it's still a wait and see.
  2. Brewers ain't going to deal Sheets for that, especially when they'd be adding salary. Frankly unless Jenkins is able to play RF or CF, it's hard to see where Lee would fit in with the Brewers' plans unless he played LF.
  3. Recap for us Out - Of - Towners puh-lease.
  4. Bears are never going to win when they can't run the football. Thomas Jones seems to be going backwards on his early season form, although u gotta giv credit to the Jags DL.
  5. Last time I talked to a Blockbuster Clerk, she told me to stay in school, otherwise I'll end up like her.
  6. Could be non - tendered on Dec. 20, doubt he'll be resigned, but Kubel and Restrovich are both injured which could force Terry Ryan's hand.
  7. Resigned Radke to a 2 year $18 mill deal. Lost Guzman to Washington and replaced him with Juan Castro. Lost Blanco to the Scrubs and replaced him with Mike Redmond. About to lose Koskie to the Blue Jays.
  8. We'll have to beat this deal if it's goin to happen;
  9. Nothing's changed on that front yet, still looks like he'll sign a 3 year $17 mill deal with the Jays according to Gammons.
  10. Also Tampa Bay just acquiried a catcher, Kevin Cash from Toronto for Chad Gaudin, so the reports of them shopping Hall could be correct.
  11. Pinella will go crazy if they trade Huff. And Huff's value isn't exactly as high as it was this time last year.
  12. How did this turn into a Hot Chicks Thread? SLAP and How Does it Work ppl.
  13. I'm hoping that was meant to be in green.
  14. Atlanta is out of the Brown hunt, Schuerholz wanted no part of him. There are rumblings that he could go back to San Diego however which could make some sense, depending on how much the Yanks pay of Brown's contract. I'd be pretty happy as a Padre fan so far this off-season regardless.
  15. From the Southtown, looks like Gene called it;
  16. It depends on whether the Yanks can move Brown along with Vazquez which is now unlikely for 2 reasons. The 2 teams Brown was interested in a trade too, Philly hav their rotation sewn up, and Atlanta could too if they resign Paul Byrd. Wright passed his physical so he's a Yank, and than there's Eric Milton as well.
  17. At least Jordan was a role model and a model citizen, no way you can say that about Kobe. He could be the biggest cancer in the league (Who am I kidding, Glenn Robinson had that sewn up from day 1).
  18. Bumping this thread because I saw this piece of news or "tabloidism"

    HAPPY BDAY SS2K

    Hav a real great B-Day Mike, we all appreciate the hard work you put in round the joint. And hav a Fosters on me.
  20. Well I can't blame the Tiggies for not being persistent.
  21. And frankly he should do the same if we acquire Hudson. Hudson wants 4 years over $50 mil, and we could give him that but most likely we'd have to trade Jose Contreras first. If Contreras doesn't pitch well before July, he could very well be outta here anyways, but the Sox would probably have to pay some of his contract for another team to take him.
  22. Should be a real good game between these two. I'm picking the Jags for 2 reasons despite their red zone inefficiencies. The 4th quarter play of Byron Leftwich and the Jags DL which is quite possibly the best in the league. Let's see how Hutch goes against a real defence, but whoever the QB is next season, they're definitely going to need more weapons to throw to. Braylon Edwards would be ideal.
