Yeah I thought so, pretty sure he's making $4 million this season, which is probably about what we'd hav to fork out to get him. Fantasic behind the plate, only question is about his hitting.

Not this season anyways, I think the Cardinals might have an option for him next year, otherwise he'll be a FA. Their other young catcher is doing quite well, so Matheny could be a good target to go after.

Let's just hope we can take advantage of some good luck scheduling wise this season.

The Angels won't trade McPherson, Glaus will leave during FA, and they'll want to use Chone Figgins more as a utility type of player, so they can ease McPherson into 3rd long - term.
