Crying is Good! It brings out the Boo - Hoo's.

When healthy he could be, I think the Mets are really regrettin not offerin him that long term deal rite about now, hence all the Maggs to Mets rumors are startin to heat up.
-
If we targeting a starting pitcher from Cleveland I'd say it would be Jason Davis or Jake Westbrook. But why would Cleveland want to deal with us anyways, Joel Pineiro is a better solution in my opinion.
-
I'm not convinced Reed can contribute at the moment, he's still in a mini slump for the Knights, obviously Gload is one of Ozzie's boys and he probably deserves at least a week or 2 startin. Borchard caught a bad break with his injury, that's all, hopefully he can get back to form quickly.
-
I think Ozzie wants to giv A-Row and Gload a chance to battle each other for the RF spot while Maggs in on the DL. I'd rather Borchard continue at Charlotte, instead of playin once a week for the White Sox. If Borchard keeps sluggin though, it's goin to hard not to promote him.

Sheets = more than Reed and Cotts, Doug Melvin has repeadtly stated that he want 3 top class prospects for Ben Sheets. Think of the Bartolo Colon deal a few years back, when the Expos gave up Grady Sizemore, Cliff Lee and Brandon Phillips. That deal isn't lookin good for the Expos rite now is it.
-
Milwaulkee IS NOT goin to trade Ben Sheets, unless they get 3 prospects out of Jeremy Reed, Brian Anderson, Ryan Sweeney and Kris Honel. Cleveland ain't goin to trade their ace, they need all the pitching they can get, they'd be in contention rite now if it wasn't for their bullpen.

Best of luck to ya there BEGOOD.

Hey at least the Twinkies still lost ok.
-
We can only hope.
-
Against the Twinkies, keep it up Doug!
-
At least it gives a chance for Aaron Rowand and Ross Gload to play more, plus we can keep Willie Harris in CF. We need Carlos, Frank and Paulie to keep their hot bats goin for a while longer though.

A MACHINE claimed to be the world's smallest PC incorporating a Pentium 4 desktop processor and weighing just 1.25 kilograms has been showcased at Computex 2004 in Taipei. The EZgo PC e7j computer uses some notebook components like hard drive, memory and a PC card slot, marrying these to more traditional desktop components like a DVD-RW drive, a Pentium 4 processor and a copper heat sink. The machine, from Taiwanese outfit ATOZ International, is targeted at those concerned about aesthetics or with limited desktop real estate, particularly in living rooms. Account manager Alvin Hwang told Australian IT that the heat dispersal system was patent pending and "top secret". The specifications of the toaster shaped box are impressive. They include: CPU system bus at 400/533 MHz; System Chipset SIS 651; a 2.5 inch 12.5mm high Hard Disk (ATA133/ 100/66), and an ATAPI-IDE interface for high speed slim type CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-COMBO, or DVD-RW drives. It has built-in IrDA, 10/100 Mbps Ethernet, 56K V.90 Modem card, a TV-Port, two mini type FireWire (1394) ports (400 Mbps); four USB ports; a 9 pin serial port (RS-232) and a 25 pin Parallel port (EPP /ECP). Form factor changes for PCs are very much in evidence at this year's Computex - the world's second-largest computer trade show, with several manufacturers showing off hi-fi component shaped computers. SVEC's Media Center PC Chassis FD7134, for example, is solidly made to go at the bottom of a stack of living room-style component decks. It has front-mounted ports for USB 2.0, IEEE 1394, line in, speaker out and microphone. The FD7134 has two 5.25 inch bays for drives like CD-RW and another two 3.5 inch bays for a 6-in-1 card reader or floppy drive, as well as two internal bays for hard drives.

A bank boss who resigned after admitting he had accessed an internet site containing "adult material" on his office computer, expressed his regret on for what he described as a "silly" incident. Michael Soden, 57, group chief executive of Bank of Ireland and a former National Australia Bank executive general manager, announced his immediate resignation from Ireland's oldest bank in a personal statement on Saturday. "It was a case of curiosity killed the cat," he told today's issue of the Irish Times newspaper. Mr Soden described his departure from the € 1.3 million ($2.23 million)-a-year job as self-inflicted. "It was a silly incident. It was unfortunate and I am paying a very high price for it. I regret it enormously. It was foolish," he said. "More than anything else I regret the hurt caused to my wife, the staff and the bank's shareholders," he told the newspaper. "It was a one-shot event but there were policies and procedures on internet use that I had signed off on. "I am a very strong believer that when you make the rules, there is not one version for the leader and one for the staff." The checking of the bank's computers for inappropriate use had been outsourced. Mr Soden joined Bank of Ireland, Ireland's second-biggest commercial bank, in 2001 after resigning as National Australia Bank executive general manager of business and personal financial services. He took up the top job in March 2002. The governor of the bank's court (board of directors), Laurence Crowley, said they would be immediately be putting in place arrangements to appoint Mr Soden's successor.

I saw this news story last night, apparently there's a five year old in the same city who weighs about 115 pounds I think.

What about the Chat Room Police.

We've had good luck with the scheduling so far, catching the Yankees early was a break, Toronto and Kansas City early was a break. Hopefully we can actually advantage of it though.
